But...... it doesn't look like that will work. My slot has 2 spots for the card, but the one that you gave the link to has three tabs.:confused:

I just talked to a tech at Gateway, they said I have to get a PCI-Express card. Is that true?


Can someone please just give me a link to a card that will work? lol. I'm so conufused with all of these different types. Will any card work that will plug into the slot?


With all of this I'm tempted just go get one of the USB adapter things.

The white slot is a regular PCI slot. The black one with the slot on the opposite end is a PCI-e slot. The card I posted will work in your extra PCI slot(the white one) even with the three tabs on it. Thats the way a lot of Of PCI cards are.

Finally! A straight answer from someone! lol. Thank you G-Force! I looked for about 3 hours earlier and I couldn't come up with anything as to what would work and what wouldn't.
