i have a EB modded O.S. .30 and the conrod snapped, not bad just where it attaches to the crank.

i took the engine apart and there isnt a scratch on the sleeve, the piston doesnt even have any discoloration or not even a scratch on it

everything else ont he engine checks out fine, can i just replace the conrod? or do i have to get a new piston and sleeve too?

im leaning towards just replacing the conrod because everything else looks in great shape, the engine on the inside looks practically brand new the piston top looks like the day i got he engine, still shinny

thanks for ur advice here
mic the crank pin; may be out of round
Yeah nic the pin... Im sure its ok... Then just get a rod
i know how it broke, i had a runaway at full speed and i still had steering and was faced with let it just keep going or hit hte curb, i hit the curb, but when i got to it it was still running so the impact probaby cracked the conrod then it just broke

everything ese looks good thou
the impacked probably did nothing tbh with you, id make sure to check the crank pin before putting another rod in there otherwise ull just end up wearing the ne wone out in a hurry
weird.... Broke motor internals but not the rest of the truck?

now i didnt say that Smile

the front right wheel went air borne, total damage, the Cv broke in half, the turn buckle, the king pin broke in several places

it was running after the impact then died, i onl found the engine damage after fixing the engine and then noticing it had a clanking noise when i rotated the fly wheel
