I'm using a 13tooth robinson in my 8ight. I havn't had a problem yet.

How many is all over? Not trying to be smart about it, I just want to know if I should change before it blows up. Also, do you mean blowing up in a bunch of peices?
well they were the teeth down much quicker and they get a groove real quick. better off with the stocker
mike that 8ight-T show up by chance?
Look at A Main they have all of them in stock as of today and yesterday just have to pay a little extra for the quick shipping if ya wanted one that bad, just an idea
the stockers were blowing up not robinsons......
I was just repaeating what i was told... Mike and lynn were bitchin about it a month or so back... Well, before they got smart! LOL
From what I have and heard the experience is that the RR C/B are harder.
One of my racing buddies bought that and the matching Spur and blew through those just as quick as the stock ones.
It came down to the chassis flex and getting the KHZ rear brace fixed the blowing C/B problem. He runs a tighter mesh than I did and that is a small part of it as well.
I myself have only blown one since I got the KHZ brace---things are lasting much longer now. I have stuck with the stock ones.

HTH

sotckers blow up, but the robinsons wear much quicker from my experience with them
gear mesh shouldnt effect it if u set it right
i work at al's hobby shop and there are bout five of them in the losi bin.

i too had an issue with the clutch bell breakin but that was due to a crumby locktight job by the factory. my motor mounts loosened up and when i landed a jump a chuck of the clutch bell went flyin.

i slapped a 16tooth in and re-locktightened the mounts and havent had a prob since.
