Items needed:
One complete go kart frame from Rawkfist-02.
One 20 year old Kemp wood chipper that had been used 5 times so still had the Briggs 5hp motor in mint condition.
One day without the kids bugging me.

Unbolt working Briggs motor and remove chipper pully
Remove clutch from non-working kart motor
Install working motor with clutch onto kart frame (dont forget the belt)
Pile kids and kart into mini-van and goto nearby parking lot in industrial park
Drive all over lot trying not to fall off because you're laughing so hard.:bustingup

All I need now is to run a cable linkage from the carb to the gas pedal. Currently, I have to control tha throttle by reaching for the knobs on the motor while steering with my left hand. I was able to find a kit online. I tried to have a local small engine shop repair it, but they are a bunch of idiots. The could not figure out how to connect a linkage to the pedal. If it takes more than a new plug to fix - they apparently are stumped.
Shouldn't be too hard to rig up a throtte cable.

Or you could always just put a servo on there. Wink
sounds like a fun day
Hey Mike, there's a kart shop in Carol Stream on Gary Ave.

I ordered a cable conversion kit and 4 new tires online and next week, Viking Kart Products in Carol Stream is going to install it all. Thanks again!
