this demon was dialed. before this glitch showed up.
I have never driven one but by its looks it appears to be a good truck as far as design and layout. I have never seen anyone fast run one, there were 2 guys at my lhs that had the rtr version and they broke parts, stripped out diff gears, and lost cvd pins.
If anyone knows why this is such a crappy truck I honestly would like to know. For that price I'm thinkin about buying one just to see for myself.

I think they rushed the hellfire into production which caused its initial problrems with breakage and pre mature wear. Then there was a shortage of replacement parts, and finally it took forever to get out the tuner parts i.e. springs,sways,ect...
I dont think its a bad truck i just think it was cursed from the start
the SS is supposed to be a whole different monster compared to the rtr.

ok...i had a hellfire when i first started racing, the chassis is too rigid, parts quality sucked, I had about everything done to it that would help and still no better, the geometry in the front end just makes it push like a dump truck going into corners, reguardless of diff set up or type of track, after watching me drive one day sonny says...."why you brake sliding the rear around every corner"? cause that is the only way it would turn.... LOL needless to say that thing got dropped like a bad habit. LOL just my .02 tho

my hellfire works too. felt very dialed on friday. did not push in the corner at all.
