Is there any way that i can get all of my playlists from Windows media player onto itunes without re-uploading my CD's been trying to figure this out forever
Yeah.

Go to your Windows Media Player, then click the properties of a song, see where the song is on your hard drive, write it down, then click Add Folder in I-Tunes, and just look for the folder where the music is on your hard drive.
so ill only be able to do it song by song?
No-all of the songs should be in 1 folder. Just look at the location of the song minus the Artist name/song title that will be after the info you want.
Yeah, what Ponch said.
That wont' transfer any playlists guys. that will only add the songs to the iTunes music library. Which is different from a Playlist.

You might be able to export the playlists in a format that iTunes can understand with WMP 11, but I don't use WMP 11 (crappy MS product compared with WinAMP) so I can't say so for sure.

Yes, I'm a WinAMP fanboy. I use WMP for playing most movies with VLC and PowerDVD for misc formats that WMP doesn't understand.
I am a winamp fan too. I use it and and a number of plug-ins to run my karaoke shows. It does the job way better that some of the 3-4 hundred dollar apps that are specifically designed for the same purpose.

winamp is buggy for online streaming content, but since I am running it on a dedicated machine that never sees the net that is a non issue.

For playing the movies however, even if winamp can process the format, I find the picture quality is better using windows media player.
I avoid video playback with Winamp (but the Nullsoft video streaming servers got some good stuff occasionally. I usually don't have any problems with streaming media from Shoutcast(winamp) and can stream it for more than 24hrs without a hiccup.
