I just replied to the " How much $ in R/C poll ". I thought I would post some pictures. Here is a bunch of $ in R/C stuff right here. There are more, just no photos right now. This is most of the Maxxes though. One is still in pieces, Kinda had a bad fall from about 20 ft. up.

that is a great collection of maxxes. I like the flag & star skid plates.

Thanks all, I'm pretty proud of them. The stars & stripes skids are by Fullforce. I've had them for over 2 yrs. waiting for the right Maxx to mount them on. I've been into R/C since 1984. I've just became this nutty about it since 1999. I'm in to deep to stop now !!

Nice collection, where did you get the 55 Chevy Body from? I wouldnt mind putting one of those on my Savage.

You obviously have alot of money into maxx's.... ever think about building a full big block supermaxx?

The 55 body is a bolink. I believe i got it off ebay, but not sure. My original plans was to have like the big 3 in older muscle cars. The 49 Mercury, 55 Chevy, & 69 Charger. I hope to get a cool Red/White/Blue Dodge body & that will finish the original plan.

A full SuperMaxx is next on my list. I've already told my wife that, if I have to sell some parts & even a Maxx or 2 to afford one. I want one ! There is no doubt U.E. stuff is great. I have some on these trucks here. My big thing though is, It will be built from ebay used/new stuff. Getting the parts straight from U.E. is outrageous. I am willing to have 2.5k maybe a bit more in one. But the 5k it takes to get new is out for me !

I have seen some real good deals on the BST forum on UE also, when I get more money saved up im gonna try to get a used 6 spyder kit for $120 or so.

Maybe he builds them for the hell of it and has the money to do so? If i had a good amount of money sittin around, I would love to build a maxx sort of like the ones looker has. He says he has been into RC since '84, so he should know they don't have very good resale value. (supermaxx's and UE/Dace parts seem to be able to hold their value the most out of anything else)

Rob, don't get me wrong. I love the idea of having too much money and an understanding spouse.

Thats funny !! I can not even remember selling a complete R/C. Thats why I still own the Tamiya Lunchbox I built in 1987. It's hardly an investment :lol: . I've had the several jobs & businesses that made me some decent money. The funniest thing about that is.... Right now I'm un-employed. Thats why I have the time to be on here most of the day & have fun. My building has come to a very slow point with the cash flow down to very little. This is all about fun to me, I've built about everything on wheels. From old Harley Davidson bikes, to Top Alky. Dragsters, & pretty much all in between. Been wrenching since I was about 10. In 26 + yrs. I hope I at least did a few things right !

It's over 10k in the last 5 yrs.. Crazy I know. You want to talk some $$$ though. This is what has made a bunch & cost a bunch too. The Box alone was 14k. Just a little explaining, I was also a Snap-On Dealer for 3 1/2 yrs.

No motor... its battery powered

That's why I said "motor" not "engine" (jk).
It must have LOTS of batteries!!!!
That chest is bigger than (an probably cost more) than my car.

Sad thing is it cost more than my car too !! It really could use an engine . Not a fun thing to move at all. Has to be moved on a rollback wrecker. I've had to do this twice already, & probably about to do it again.

yeah the B/S/T forum on the UE site is where you'll find all the UE/Dace parts cheap. Forget Ebay, the people on the UE board are very honest and will tell you the exact details about the used items. Some of the UE people will put their stuff on ebay too, like "devilmanak" for instance. I bet that's his racerX on ebay now.

I'm starting to feel like I've got too much money in my Revo but can't bring myself to sell it. I probably should since I've got the Vantage Chassis and a TZ with all the racing Hop-ups. But, just like your T-Maxxes, I doubt I'll get my money out of it. I should just cut my losses while I can an get a truggy.
