George is right guys (not too sound like im is lap dog) The owner of the land was hella cool letting us build there and devoting a rather larger chunk of land to r/c instead of planting soy beans on it. If it were my land i wouldnt want people just showing up whenever they wanted ethier...

Im can hardly wait to race that track myself.... Concidering it will be the biggest i have ever raced on but its not even done yet... It still needs pipe and the finishing touches like being dragged and having the jumps groomed...

Please dont let this discourage anyone from coming out on the 3rd... We ( as a club) would love to have everyone there!!! But not till the 3rd..

Thanks for listening.
Roc
ya what he said
Thanks sponsor!!!

You going out there with the guys too work later??
That sucks man. Was is someone from one of the boards?
I have no idea, not singling anyone out. Just letting everyone know.
so im letting dimo himself pick parts for project dimo killer......

so far i have ordered

Jumbo Kong tires
an el camino body
a 5 lb weight to hang off the front, john says these wheelie hard
john says to forget about shock oil and just use simple green.

am i ready to race?

actually i ordered those panther tires and hurricane wheels. and im accepting hand me down parts from john.
lol Smile
LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Di , God i love you!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :bustingup :bustingup :bustingup :bustingup
Do you guys need some private time? Big Grin
not that kind of love you dirty greek!!!
John, dont use simple green in the shocks thats stupid! Use a nice spray wax, that way they will stay clean. HAHA
....use water, its cheaper and doesnt have an oily residue
George,

Is there a time schedule for the day on Sunday? Practice times, qualifiers, and mains?

And is there electricity our there to charge batteries?

Thanks

Dave
practice is from 8am-10am
heats start at 1030am (2) heats per class
intermission is like 30 mins
then the c-mains and b-mains are 5 mins
a-mains are 10 mins
racing usually goes till around 5pm but being that it will be more packed this weekend, prolly like 7pm

no electricity, bring DC chargers or a bunch of packs already charged

DirtDawg'sRC Wrote:Ribbons are handed out for first thru third, in the A and B mains.

Non members are allowed to race once with us, (except for the third (new track)). It is kinda like a health club, you check it out, and if you like it join if not thanks for checking us out.

We race on a season point total and an awards party is held at the end of the season. Ribbons handed out after each race.

We race every other Sunday ( July 3rd next race) Practice and reg from 8-10. 10:30 racing starts. We run 2 5 minute heats and 10 minute A mains and 5 minute lesser mains
We race 1/8 pro, 1/8 sportsman, electric, Mt Sportsman, Outlaw Mt, and Gas truck

We have 3 tracks, 2 in Elburn and 1 in McHenry

Member ship is $60 for the year. You get t shirt, sticker for your car, and entered into the points system and invited to the awards banquet. Plus discounts at LHS's and a new killer deal with an online retailer.

Race fees, non members $20 first $5 for each additional. Members $10 and $5

All timing is done on the AMB timing system with the Rc Scoring software

Here you go...... Smile
Tex, Eracer,

Thanks, basic reading required, right! I guess I recall reading that but I am having a long week and those brain cells are long gone.

10am - 7 pm, that's a long day of fun.

Hope to make it there. We'll see!

Thanks again.
You should come on out dave it would be nice to finally meet you in person.

I agree, you should make it out.
Well, it's official, we can't make the "all day racing" part work for Sunday. I still hope to get out to see some of the the mains .
the warden gotcha on lock down?
if you can come out from like 2pm to 5-6pm that's when all the real action takes place.
Tex don't lie the real action is the electric 1st qualifier....
:bustingup

Nutin like it, when they all get up to the starting line , the ROAR of those man powerful motors.. Make the hair stand up on my neck just thinking about it....
Rocco, I won't admit to the Warden part, but yeah, it's like that. Sad

If we sneek up on the "all day" aspect of the racing by only going for "a couple of hours" on Sunday, it will be easier to plan for an all day event later on. Rolleyes

And we're having the Fourth Party Confusedalute: at our house Monday, so I need to chill the beer :drool:and season the steaks, and all that prep work. And before you ask, no, I won't tell you where we live. :moon:
