I was thinking of THIS engine but it may be too big for the chassis. Big Grin

Seriously though I was thinking a Hyper .21 8port. I have a Picco .27 8port, and but I really would like something that revs. Don't want to get into true on-road prices as they are expensive! More than I want to spend right now.

Budget is about $200, any recomendations?
Sportwerks .26
Not much better than the current Picco I have.

Looking more for a .21 with a good top end charge, but without getting onto the "on road" engines that cost $400+ easy.
how about the OS 21VG
Grab the sweet deal on werks engines @ amain right now!
Also right now you can get a modded sts team line .21 for like 175 on ebay. Supposed to be bad azzz but need to run an sts pipe with it also. Thats what I think will go in the ct-5 Smile
Deals right now don't do me any good, not planning on buying an engine for at least a month, maybe longer. Its getting the Picco .27 for now, and I'll be buying a pipe for it shortly.

And I definitely won't be buying an engine till I sell the stock GX28.
RB s7, talk about revs (thing screams)....right around $200 or so...BMain hobbies
i have a thunder tiger .70 from a ek4 s2. big time torque!!
id throw a C6bb in there
See this is why i dont chime in , in these threads... I recommend a nice budget motor and i get scoffed at....

Pfffft....

I agree with you on the sportwerks. Though for the gt maybe the sportwerks .21 would be even better.
I'd just stick with the picco 27 for now. nothing else out there will be low buck and pull hard on the top.
+1
Its not that the motors are bad, but what I was really hoping is that someone would have a recommendation for a .21 sized engine stronger than the Picco I have laying around, but also not in the 300+ range.

I said $200 knowing that people would recommend engines more expensive than that.

I was considering the 621p as part of the upper end, or a Vspec if I really wanted to spend $$$ on an engine for it.

And the Hyper .21 8port on the low end.
Vspec.. bahh..

but after running my fresh rebuilt OPS .21 on road in the GT I'm very pleased.
+1 again on Vspecs! Hahaha!!!

Thats one purty nova!
I had the Hyper 8-port Race version in the IGT for a short while, then I went with a Sirio .21. I wish I wouldn't have let the Hyper go with the Buggy. It had a LOT of top end. I might pick up another one, and run the IGT as a single speed.
get the werks .28 200$ on A main right now
Not buying engine now. Just dropped $330 on the IGT, dropped another $60 in parts for the LSP and Jammin.

Have a TransAm to get running which may require anywhere from $250 to $500 in parts after I get it all wired up.

I'm only interested in looking right now, not buying.
drop one of your 8-port NR.28's in there...that should be on the verge of insane
!!Thats would pull some serious gearing so you would have disgusting top end
I am going to do that, but right now I still haven't gotten my other rossi back yet, the remaining 528xr is in the LSP.

I think the 528xr in the IGT would insane with wide ratio gearing and a larger clutch bell.

I think 2spd cam or shoe transmission from a Ultra GTP fits in those too. Because the Hyper and Jammin diffs fit as well.

Imagine how quickly the Rossi would strip those plastic spur gears? Smile I'll run the 2spd until it blows up or strips a gear.

Wonder if I can get this to happen http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HIxKoCueD5M
