Poke a hole in the bottom of the bottle and call it a factory default. lol. jk

Figured out how much in damage?

Starter box=90?

Batts= 35-40?

Radio=150+?

Heatgun=20
Stater box and the batts should be fine
Yeah you got the prices right kyle...well let me double check;

Starter box=75

Batts= 35

Radio=120

Heatgun=20

Gallon=25

So $275 to replace all this chit...ouch.

Not sure on the batts. Box might survive, The batteries might have shorted.
Should be, but who knows what sitting in nitro for 4+ days will do to the cells...

He will probally need to replace the wires, wheel, and belt, I'm sure if it "melted" the plastic on the radio, it probally did the same to the rubber on the wires.
Wires wheel and belt look fine.
dammm, i always lay my byrons on the side.... guess i wont now JIC.
Never had problems with byron's on it's side. First time I do it with this, it spills.
Does it have the red cap like Trinity? Just curious.
No.
wow. That sux man.
Yeah. Well the wheel on the radio is fine! haha. And the fuel bottle survived. That's a good think imo, lol.
You didn't have any un-eaten sammiches in there did ya?
Had a baggy of cheetos-Don't worry Mike, gas does NOT eat away at the seal on the cheeto's bag so they were still edible! Just to be on the safe side though I threw them out.
^^were they flaming hot? Might spice things up a bit....
This is Ron Hopkins response to matt (he owns werks)

Matt, that does not look good! Did by chance the bottle get put in your
crate upside down? Just curious as that looks like a whole lot of fuel,
I would guess close to a complete gallon. I can not see how a bottle
stood right side up can spill it's entire content. Regarding the gallon
seals, by which I take it you mean caps we use UN compliant packaging
only. Meaning that the boxes, bottles, caps and every other part of our
packaging has been tested and certified for use with hazard/flamable
liquids. They also have teflon seals, meaning that they can not disolve
which can cause leakage. Also the gallons are induction sealed, so
there is 0 chance of un-opened gallons leaking. Frankly unless the cap
is not tightened properly it should not come loose. Even if it did leak
I'm still not sure how it is possible for a cap to leak so much that
you get that amount of fuel in your crate unless the bottle was upside
down. Not trying to pass the buck but I'm just curious as in the last 2
years that we have been selling fuel, I have never seen the bottle
leak.
wow, i guess he told you...lol
Radio doesn't work...Got the cover off, put in some batt's and nothing.
DAMN dude. Guess I'll keep that bottle upright. I stored byrons and trinity on their sides all the time. I'm not taking the chance though.
I have a DX2 here I can sell you cheap. I will be honest and it was dropped. So the bottom part of the case popped open alittle. Nothing some tape couldnt fix Big Grin

I'll bring it on sunday
Ron posted this this morning after you stated that it felt like the cap ws stripped.

Fair enough, sounds like we had a cap that got stripped during
botteling. All of that caused by a 10 cent cap, I apolagize about that!
Now for the legaleze, needless to say for anyone reading this as with
any bottle containing liquid, I would recomend that you set it right
side up with if possible something proped against it so that it can not
fall over. This will also avoid the possability of a copious amount of
liquid escaping from the bottle if the cap is not tightened properly,
comes loose or even falls off.

Having said that Matt, shoot an e-mail to [email protected] with
attn Ron in the subject line. Put your address in the body of the text
and I'll send you a little something as my way of saying sorry for the
problem that you experienced. I'm not with Horizon so I can't send you
a new radio but it will be my way of saying sorry and giving you a
little something to show you that we value you as a customer and user
of our products and want you to continuing to do so.

ron is the man
WOw....that sucks ponch...and ron is the man. that is cool of him to hook you up with anything for that. Smile
Yep, Ron is cool. And to blame his product because somebody cant set a gallon of FUEL with the cap right side up, For A WEEK, in a container, because you find it necessary to put everything in there no matter how it is stored, is total Bull shit. Its common sense, Its FUEL, its highly flammable, Its a corrosive, It can burn your phuckin house down. Nobody should have to replace anything. Man-up and take responsibility for your own action.Confusedmash:
JT, did I EVER ask for anything replaced from Werks? No.
