I want a HPI b5... SO cool
03-10-2007, 10:17 PM
Damn that is nice there.
But what I really want from FG is a nice F1 or Competition on-road chassis.
http://www.fg-modellsport-gmbh.de/medien...large1.jpg
Length 960mm, Width 440mm,
Height 230mm, Wheelbase 620mm
Or this.....
Length 905mm, Width 400mm,
Height 215mm, Wheelbase 535mm
Amazingly detailed bodies and the awesome ability to put some serious power with the larger 2 stroke gas motors.
They have a promo video here. http://www.fg-modellsport-gmbh.de/FG-Int...ex_e.html#
Link to the video is the lower left hand corner.

The F1 would be okay for the most part. You wouldn't want to whack a curb with any of the onroad cars. They just aren't made to take it in the least. I want the larger onroads for the scale realism. The bodies are beautiful and the 2 stroke gas means you can pretty much run cheaply anywhere. Price to get into it is big though, which hurts it. Then there isn't a place to race such vehicles. I don't think LHR is gonna be able to get a class going for the big ones.
I can just imagine a practice day when a 1/10th scale meets a 1/5th scale on the track.

and the 45 min run time on one tank is a big plus!

Dear God, I think it's time for an intervention. You need a bigger garage for that.
Funny scenario/prank. Start that bigazz truck up, hide out of site, then drive it up to the gas pump at the corner Mobil station and wait for the attendant to come out and gas it up.
Video the whole thing!

As much as the IGT is an on-road its really more of a on-road buggy chassis. All of the plastics still retain their off-road durability.
I mean the true on-roads. I'm sure the F1 car would sustain some pretty bad damage on the front end in a curb wreck, simply because in order to look realistic the control arms, push rods, and everything else need to be small enough look scale.
