chickenfarmer3 Wrote:cool, it has gotten a little rough at times.....but there is 12 truggys that are sharing 10' lanes....i little rough...and a little bit just blown outta proportion, all in all it is always a good time at LH.

Id say very blown out of proportion...

ewwwww
The rest of the truck is about as nice as I can get it without buying everything that is on it brand new. Might as well bite the bullet and get the best clutch too. I plan on calling and ordering an M2C clutch setup on Monday.
Leisure is 12' lanes.......and it's not the track that makes people hack it's the drivers.

Here's the problem I see with the truggy class...a lot of new drivers/ex MT drivers are moving to truggy. They don't know how to not hack so the fast guys (quals) are having to hack their way to the top. Being that they are being somewhat forced to hack to hold their positions, everyone in the class has become accustomed to hacking being part of truggy racing at Leisure.

What needs to happen to fix it is Leisure should be calling more stop and go's on hackers and the more experienced drivers should all stop hacking and lead by example.

I give it this...it's very hard to stop hacking when everyone else around you is hacking the chit out of you. Someone needs to step up to the plate though.

Just my opinion is all....
the lanes indoor are 10 feet
I must be remembering wrong then....I could have swore they were 12'
i believe outdoor they may have been 12 indoor is 10 or less
I called up M2C and he reccomended the Medium shoes and getting a set of .9, .95, 1.0, and 1.05 springs so I can tune from there. What do you guys think for the springs as I would like to save from ordering 4 sets of springs. Quick reccomendations? The other thing is I won't have time to tune the clutch that delicately before the race on Sunday since I will be breaking in the motor on saturday. Thanks
get .95s
Alright.... that is for indoor, what would you say for outdoor?? And the medium shoes sound good??
just use the .95s everywhere
Alright.... Medium Shoes, .95s, and I was thinking of maybe picking up a set of .90s so I could run 2 .90s and 2 .95s outdoor to soften up the bottom end a little bit maybe??
yupp
Sweet! That order will go in after work. :-)

Haha.... not this sunday, but next sunday yes (after St. Pat's Day). My spring break starts next Friday.
