All classes have been canceled for Tuesday (Feb. 13) at the University of
Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. More than 5 inches of snow fell overnight, up
to another foot of snow is possible by Tuesday night and a blizzard warning
is in effect. U. of I. employees who have been designated as essential
personnel are expected to report to work.

I'm at work. I'm in social services and I run the vocational supported jobs program for people with mental illnesses and such. Translation - I've been out with my crew shoveling and snow blowing all day. I need a nap. Time to turn off my cell phone, lock my door, and prop up my feet.
I just talked to a customer and he told me they closed the State of Virginia!!! The forecast is for a hellacious ice storm.
But if the close Virginia??!!! well actually who would notice....
