And considering my sebrings tranny was so messed up that it wouldn't go above 40mph(literally, it just wouldn't go in gear!), it was great to drive a car that was solid.
That sebring was the biggest POS ever, leaked everywhere, slower than balls, gay, had dents/scratches all over, etc etc
thenewguy821 Wrote:Sounds like your Chrysler Sebring had the same problem my Dodge Caravan did. The trasmissions on them sucked (Actual quote from a qualified Dodge Mechanic). Mine would get "lost" between 1st and 2nd gear. If I turned off the ignition, it would reset itself back into 1st, but as soon as I reached the shift point, it was screwed....Yeah, I plan on it. The color is amazing, and my dad owns an aluminum company, and has a main client that sells wheels, so my dad will be getting me some alloys at cost.
Nice deal on the G6. I agree with Hoobajoob, take some pics in the morning with some better light. Show that bad boy off...

FreeRideFrosty Wrote:That's pretty cool man. I think it would mean a LOT to your dad if you did that for him.Yeah, he is a man of few possessions, yet pays so much for his family. He LOVES his music, and LOVES a good steak, so what is a 400 dollar night when I get a 14000 dollar car from him?

FreeRideFrosty Wrote:It's kind of funny because the way you got your car, was almost how I got mine. My dad and I went to look at cars. He didn't know how much I had liked GTI's or that that was the car I actually wanted. We went to the VW dealer and found an '03 (this was at the end of '03) fully loaded for $23k (Originally listed at $26k). We ended up talking them down and got it for $20.5k out the door. I paid for part and part was a gift from my grandfather. My mom was PISSED when we got home. Took us about an hour and a half to calm her down. It started with "what did you do" as we walked in the door. Hahaha!!!Hahaha, my mom wanted me to get an SUV, but I said no shot in hell, all we own are SUVS(YUKON XL, ENVOY, Expedition), and I love cars. My dad made me call "the boss"(mom), and have her approve before we did anything, she loved it.
