Yeah i know who they are but IMO the "Black Magic" blew. George had one. But hey just my opinion
Yeah I had a black magic, and it was black magic like Voodoo, and it was magic if you could keep it running for a tank... I did like the xanadu cooling head though. If I wouldnt of got it for free there is no way I would of bought one.

Well good luck with your OS purchase, Its just I am leary with OS none seem to last real long, yeah they have a warranty but its kinda like Hitec, they have to warranty because they know they wont last. Yeah they may warranty it but that means you will be with out for a while, and you are in a position where you dont have a back up engine. So for the xtra few $$ I would want the assurance of a reliable engine like the Werks. Plus when you ask a question on the grid, Ron from Werks is right there to answer your ??
Ron is very good with support.

If I was selling something Id list it....
I woulda said go with the werks or the RB, i dont think the VG will give you all of what you are looking for outdoor jmo
Yeah, I agree with Czech, I have the RG (old version of VG) and I'm looking to getting a different one for outdoor. I like how the motor is for inside, but I don't think its going to have the top end necessary for outdoor.
any of these are pretty good.

Breaking in one of my speeds today.
Damn!
must be nice rich boy! lol
Damn... Jacking a thread to show off... J/K Smile

None of those engines (with the exception of the SW .26, which isn't "legal") can be had for the price range Tex is looking for.

sorry kevin i thought it was
I'll throw a 14T on for outdoor.....hell maybe even a 15t if the lowend is strong enough to pull it....

poor people can't be pickers and choosers Smile I can get a NIB VG for well under $150
And have tuning issues like ponch.lol

So your going with the VG?
Difference is, Tex can tune... He's gotten me out of a few bad tunes when I was starting out.
Same here.
good choice with the o.s. i got it as my first engine and its good and easy to tune. (i suck at tuning too). I only got a gallon through it and its still fine.
if theres something wrong with an engine at a gallon there is something serioulsy wrong with ur break in process lol
ya. But kevin helped me break it in so you better teach him houtta break it in then... Wink
dude u gotta stop spelling sh!t like that....cmon man houtta? how much harder is it to put how to
Tex, take a serious look at the Sportwerks .21. For your price range I think it would be a very good engine. It has more than enough power even for outside. It would be my choice for the money.

Tex, if new is what you want then the SW .21v2, The Novarossi 21BF, and the Go Tech .21 5 port are all a great choices. I own all three.

The Go Tech has the most HP and is about comparable to a V-Spec but smoother and not quite the fuel economy but still 9 minutes with a 9886 pipe or a SW HT pipe. This is according to the dyno at EB Mods. and can be viewed here: http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_497816...ey_/tm.htm

More good info: http://www.ofna.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5030 Russell Jones is on both of these threads often for tech support. He's a racer and the US importer.
Thanks guys, what does the SW.21 usually run money wise? $130 or so?
Hi Bruce.
