Here's a 1/18th scale mini body I just finished for a guy I know...(1st of three)

It looks a little blue but it's actually pearl purple, pearl lime green, pearl white and gun metal.

Nice body man. Your talented!
Is that spray can or airbrush?

I have been contemplating an airbrush purchase.
airbrush...... (he told me at the Berwyn bash he uses a airbrush)
wow nice job!!
Very Nice!
cool body!!! Never saw that before!!! Nice paint too!!
Thanks guys....It's all airbrush work and hand cut masks. I rarely use pre-cut stuff as I want my stuff to be unique.
I figured I'd keep all the 1/18th scale bodies in one post. Just finished this one for a RC18T...

I'll have to wait until tomorrow to get pics in the sunlight Cool

Obsessive,

What kind of airbraush and compressor are you running? I am contemplating a purchase and I am looking for input.

Thanks, your work looks great!

Dave
I am currently using an Iwata Eclipse for most of my stuff. It's a good all around dual action airbrush and it's reasonably priced.

I also use a Badger 350 (inexpensive sigle action external mix) for heavy bodied paints like Faskoat and coarse metallic flake.

As far as compressors go... I have a Scorpion II http://www.bearair.com/prodinfo.asp?number=120140 very quiet and no hassels. Buying compressors is more of a budget thing, buy the best one you can afford so that you don't want to upgrade too soon.
