But that is you. We are different. Big Grin

bubbaracing Wrote:Thanks a ton Roc, you still got the Savage? If so bring it out and we'll see how bad inferno st thinks he is, I was there Sun watching some rounds and i'm with what Roc said:moon: What's the site for twisted toys? Or where did you get the chassis thru?

Thanks Matt:headbang:
Heres a link for the best savage chassis in the world ...http://www.twisted-toys.net/order.html

Yes, i still have my savage... Always will... Its a shelf queen now
+++1000 Dan!! Yeah what Dan said! hehe:moon: :moon:
I need track time. I want to really focus on outdoor when I am home this summer but I have a feeling that race days are small..... And I am going to miss most of the rest of indoor season, if not all. I am going to need to learn to drive again once I get back. :-\ Not the best setup to get good at racing. I still don't think it can be as bad as my year-ish leave.
I think i might have a 1/2 extended and lowered chassis ....lemme know if your interested.
whats harder outdoor or indoor

Motors aren't anything in that class IMO. Granted, a little extra down the straight is nice, but stock motors are fine. You need to make the bricks handle....

Edit: Outdoor is harder. I thought you asked what was harder outdoor than indoor....

EVERYTHING. Changing conditions, dry.... you really need to be easy on the throttle through the turns or you will spin. You just need to drive delicate. Plus more cleaning as everything gets nasty and dusty.
Rocco,What did you have for tvp's, stock, 1/2", 1" ext?
i have the 1" ext on the truck and i like it... I have a 1/2" in my work bench. Both performed very well....
Sorry i'm sloooowww at thinkin and typin at the same time! Yeah lmk what ya want for that chassis? please Roc!
i have the TVP's and the skid plate. The tvp's are straight as an arrow ... The skid plate is alittle scuffed up but it is a skid plate! LOL!

New looks like they are 85 + shipping so how bout 40 ? (when i got mine he didnt include the drive shaft)
:headbang: Sounds like a deal, i'll let ya know when I have the cash for them asap, I got some stuff on e-bay so as soon as it sells i'll pm ya!! LMK if ya got anything else lyin around for a Savage and maybe we can make a package deal?

Thanks Matt:headbang:

not to mention the changing track conditions, whether it be having the track soaking ass wet and slimey before ur qual to dry and dusty by the end of it; or we we run it dry like most big races do having the "fast" lines on the track change, new holes come up new grooves etc. Outdoor is where you prove yourself, indoor is like practicing on a slot car track compared to it lmao
