i got an 8ight RTR, and today my steering servo basically exploded, and i don't know where to send it to get a new one, and i don't don't know what kind of servo i can get for like $40-50 that will last longer than this one, this one lasted only 4 weeks. I think this happened at the beggining of the practice day today at around 11:15, and i didn't want to stop after 5 minutes, so i taped it and it lasted until 2 and now it is basically toast.

and the losi claims another victim lol that sucks man send it to horizon

ttt
Send it to horizon, if they don't fix it get a JR z650m. Use the rubber grommets they give you!
pick up an ace servo off amian for 75 thats the best bang for ur buck ur gonna find
use the rubber grommets with the JR z650m or with the stock ones? the stock ones didn't have grommets....
i found another thing, the RTR only has 2 out of the 4 clutch shoes, which kinda sucks
Get some for the stock one then if they fix it, always use them.
i would send it in, get a new one, and then buy a beter one, say an ACE or futaba servo and use the free one as a spare
and it wasnt the losi 8ight's fualyt for the servo blowing, those servos arent that great, i have blow 4 JR and spektrum servos in the TTR
I'm guessing that that is why King Headz has the radio tray brace that several people said wasn't needed.....
the brace was for the throttle servo problem really wont matter for the steering one

ttt
do i use this form to send my stuff back? if so what do i have to pay, i thought they will just give me a new one with no 'labor' fees. just wondering
Just fill out the form and send it in with a copy of the reciept and the'll fix it for free. Horizion has great C.S. and have fixed every thing i sent in. That looks like a defect to me. Just leave some contact info incase they need to get ahold of you.

You didnt smash that with a hammer???
hes not hondo
Hondo? lol sounds like a crappy magician
LMAO wonder where old honda has been lately

If he try to fix his 1:1 car like his RC's, he's broke down somewhere Confusedmash: :bustingup
Call Horizon hobbies, and ask for the Losi division. Explain to them what happened. I had problems with the original LST, and they were VERY helpfull with replacing bad parts. (3 Stub axles, Center outdrive shaft, 2 sets of suspension arms, and they were also quick to replace a LOT of the Mach .26's that came in the original truck due to the washer in the engines exploding.)
