Anyone else going? We're heading up there today, we have both a boat and a camper. Anyone else do either? I know Racin' Ranger and ponch have campers. I'll try to get some pics of the boats.
We own neither, and we probally never will either.
I will be there tonight. We have both also.
What do you have Slow Revo?

We have an 06 Four Winns Horizon

and an 05 Jayco Designer
I'm only interested in a 43' Haulmark race RV with the back 8' being an air conditioned pit area. Just need to come up with the $210,000. lol
We have a Jayco Pop-Up and had a 19.5 foot Sea Ray that we sold about a year an a half ago. We didn't use it much and when you need to pay for gas for the boat and truck during the summer it gets quite pricey. We used to go to Lake Geneva. Nicest lake within any reasonable distance IMO.
You've probally never been to Shelbyville then. Geneva is ok, but way to crowded.
28ft outback & 27ft Parti Kraft pontoon.
This is are site out at indiana beach.
Just sodded this summer and put some trees in.It looks much better now.
That's awesome Slow.

I didn't get any pics of the boats up there or anything. I did get some pretty cool shots of the buildings lit up with Bears stuff though.
we dont have a boat but my dad has a 38' Raptor (5th wheel with 10' garage in back) Smile
I wanted to go to the show, but we had other plans yesterday and the game was today....at least they made it worth watching!!! SUPER BOWL BABY!!

Anyway, here is my boat....Ive owned since it was new in 98' and love wakeboarding and drinking beer on the IL river Cool

There's another boat @ rv show next month. In Rosemont.
Eric you make me wish I had money every time you post a pictue. What do you do for a living currently??
Nice man, looks really well taken care of. Where do you launch at? We go to either Big Basin on the Des Plains, Des Plains Fish and Wildlife preservation on the Kankakee, or to Morris in that park (can't remember the name) on the Illinois.

My parents saw this up there last night, and now they want it. I hope they get it! but I'm not sure if it will happen. We currently have the 220 Horizon.

Thanks, yeah its been garage kept all its life, and put in storage during the winter (the building in second pic) Smile

We launch in Morris at the park under the bridge and then usually head east on the river to find the good water Smile

Sometimes when we're done skiing, we'll head west to mess around and hang out at the party beach (were the first pic was taken)....but now they posted up no trespassing signs on the beach

damn kyle, you gotta take me next time you go if you get that boat....lol

yeah I saw that boat on t.v.
Yeah Kevin, if you want to go with us sometime time I'll give you a call when we head out.

We launch at the same place (under the bridge), a few times when we went East it was all full of crap, the water was pretty high though. Do you ever launch on the Kankakee? It's nice and pretty wide, there is this huge sand bar that everyone pulls up on and play's volley ball and stuff, its pretty cool. My uncles in-laws have a place down there, it's a nice clean river, muddy though at east its better than all the sewage and stuff in the Des Plains. The only bad thing about the Kankakee is it's pretty shallow all over, average of about 12 feet I would say.

We've never been to the Kanakee, I guess we'll have to try it out some time.

Since I live in Yorkville, we've always just gone to Morris because its close and the skiing is good. That and you never have to worry about hitting bottom anywhere because its sooo deep.... We've been going there for 8 years, so I know the water real good too Smile
In the spring it does get high and pick up some wood though, but last year it wasnt too bad.
We lived in MI for 2 years and spent them on the small lakes around the Aurburn Hills/ Pontiac area.....It was better then nothing, but lakes suck compared to a good river for skiing Smile

We've been taking it with us tent camping in WI once a year too, cant remember the name of the lake that empties into a river, but the campground is less then a mile away Smile
Cool.

There is this lake up in Michigan somewhere up by the UP and the water is so clear you can see the bottom from about 30 Ft out so says my dad's friend. We don't know exactly where it is, but were gonna find out. We go to Shelbyville at least once a year, this was the first year with the boat, we had two waverunners before the boat though. I think it would be fun to tent camp on the beach with the boat right there by you.

The lakes where we were in MI were very clean/clear, but full of sea weed, it sucks when you fall and your feet get tangled up in it LOL.

As for the tent camping.....we've done it on that beach in the picture once a year, on 4th of July weekends, about 4 times total.....
There used to be about 10 or so boats that would stay the night camping on 4th of July's......during the days, you have to mark your parking spot because the shore fills up with about 20 or more boats.....its a blast Smile
Until they posted the signs last year Sad
Nice boat Eracer76............my friend has a pair of sea doos, they are a blast.................dude, I live on the mighty Mississippi, their is a couple stretches of beach that are awesome for camping / partying.....one is called piggyback, its the small one, the big one is called Hogback, they take people by the barge fulls up there on the 4th of July, its a blast for the midwest Wink
Last time we were out there, there were still alot of people on there, all the coolers were lined up by the sign. lol. When we were heading in the conservation police was pulling up though.
