alright, i have an Ofna Hyper 7 Pro buggy and i want a new motor for it. Of course i want somethin hot and want to get back into racing again in the summer, been out for a few years. I have narrowed it down to a few motors as of right now. I have been looking at an RB WS7 2 or 3, a nova P5X and have been leaning the most towards a Werks B7. If you guys could give me any feedback and what ya think i should get and why and even suggestions on something different i would really appreciate it, thanx
im a nova guy and love the p5x... So thats what i suggest...
I'm not a Nova guy (yet) but the P5 would be my reccomendation also.
I'm getting a Go Tech 5port .21 next from A-Main: http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_info...s_id/10610

WHat do you know about those motors? (NOT being a smartass...) I thought we'd stay within the brands he named.
i dont get it either roc

go with the rb ws73 or the werks B7

ttt
RB they last and last and are super smooth, pricer than the others but you get what you pay for.

Well, I own a Novarossi/Crono motor and they are very good. But I think they are a bit over priced, albiet well marketed. All I can say is I've heard a lot of great things about these Go Tech engines on several forums and that piqued my curiousity. Now that I see A-Main has them, I'm sold. I talked to Chris at A-Main and he's a big supporter of these engines. I trust A-Main so I'm going to buy one. That's it.

Kinda like when people on here had no confidence in the STS motors. Well they kick ass too.
i would stick to a rb, just for their life, and ease to tune. IMO
Go with RB, Werks or Sirio!!!! The NR stuff is great too, but the P5 has alot of torque and can be a handful at times.
Mettalihockey, you'll never get unbiased opinion from these "sponsored" motor guys.
yes cuz alot of guys recommending motors here are sponsored? none of them are especially by nova or RB
oh ya

ttt
here we go again........Sad
<---- Sure as hell isn't sponsored.
Man, i could have just sworn i recommended other motors along with the ones i run. Dont be so biased against all sponsored guys, just trying to help.
its not here we go again chad, I am sponsored by werks and I recommended an RB motor first for a new guy. Joe runs for whoever and he also said RB
damn keep forgetting

ttt
Run electric. Those guys are nice. LOL!!

i know, i was reffering to the comment of sponsered guys recommending what they are sponserd by, i didnt see you tell him to get a werks, or joe tell him to get a sirio or whatever.
thanx for all the info guys, i am still stumped...i have an STS .30 in my dominator and it is absolutely unbelievable. i ran .12 STS motors in my touring cars a few years back and they were awesome too, tons of power and very easy to tune. the sts .21's dont really awe me like the 12's used to so i think i am going to go wit either a WS7 or the P5X since they are very well proven and Werks seems to be a newer company
nova
werks
rb
sirio

You really cant go wrong with ANY of these mills
werks isnt a very new company at all, their motors are made by star which also makes sirio, they know what they are doin
Soon enough RB will be made by Star, very soon too.
