is the picco .27 to much for racing?? liek is it to much power or is it good??
in a revo?

prolly too much
ya it would be put in a revo....
.18 - .21 SB's are good size for Revo. Much more than that and they start to tear up stock driveline parts quickly.
I had a .21 revo and can tell you from experience that you do not need any more than an OS .18 for racing. Even that is not necessary. You can run VERY well in the class with the stock motor.
hows the ofna picco 26
One more time.... WAY TOO MUCH!!!!

OS .18 is the most power I would EVER put in a revo. Besides.... those picco's can be a pain to tune. They are hit or miss motors IMO.
IMO, the 2.5R is the best engine in a revo to race over at LHR. If you can tune, that motor has a TON of power. Same with the OS18TM, but out of the motors i've had in my revo (2) Os18tm's, (3) TRX2.5r's, (2) TRX3.3's and for racing my 2.5R's had plenty of power. My buddy Marke Hansen runs an Orion Wasp .26 in his revo, and that has soo much power. I'm sure a .27 is nucking futs!

I agree with the 2.5 being plenty with no more than a 3.3 and .18TM. The 2.5 is also more reliable than the 3.3 from what I have gathered. Reliability is a big thing racing....
Jeez...I can't belive I'm saying this...but I've had Revos w/ .21 -.23 -.26 & even a .28!!! Cool.... yes!!! Raceable...NO!!
I had a chevy 350 w/turbo 400 trans in my Revo
