Im planning on getting a couple nice stick packs for a starter box. Ive heard that the venom 3600's are good but does anyone have any other suggestions?

Also when I was looking on a website about the venom 3600's it said this and i dont really understad what that means...

"REQUIRES: Charger: Having Negative DeltaV or Zero DeltaV Peaking capabilities"
-Does that mean it just has to be a peak charger?

Thx
Yeah, I think thats what it means - being a "peak" charger, as opposed to a timed charger.
Also, the obvious, that it must be a NIMH charger.
chit go with the 4600's now lol
wehat that delta v thing is. its the peak detection of teh charger. if you charge a nimh battery with an old nicd charger it will seriously overheat the cells and drastically shorten life
Go li-po. I'm getting this starter battery http://www.htbatteries.com/Public_html/S...0Packs.htm
If your gonna look into gettin a battery ...if your starter box can hack it ...get a one of the small 12 volt batteries.

I personally use a Kinetic Energy 12 volt Gel Cell ... the are used for high power car audio ...but I can run 2 chargers and my starter box with zero problems ...
gell cells cause sooo many problems, heavy no torque and they really dont last as long lol
Now are you referring to the little 7 Amp hour ones or the Kinetic battery ....I can agree with the torque issue on the smaller ones ...but for the bigger gel cell I have ...never had a problem ....well except for luggin the thign around to shows..
so what if its heavy mike....tuffen up, you wimp.

I use the gell cell and it last me all day plus more.
ok ok ur right kevin i should have listened to u LMAO

Everyone knows that 2 6 volt tractor batteries wired in series is the way to go. Only weighs 35 lbs.
Or, if you are handy with the soldering iron, go to Stormer Hobbies site, click on battery bargains, and pick up some loose cells and build your own custom 12cell battery. You will need a charger than can hack it though.

Or you can pick up the cheap assembled stick packs from that list for $15-18 each.
What do you mean by having a charger that can hack it?? I know that it needs to be able to acept the higher cells or voltage or whatever.... but how would you know if your charger can do it??
If you build a custom 12cell pack it will be 14.4 volts and your charger will have to output higher volts to properly charge it.
my charger wont go high enouhg in mah to charge a 12 cell pack

What charger are you using?
HT batteries has a wall charger i believe
It isn't a wall charger. It is $65 and requires a power supply.
they also have a wall charger dan
Link? I just looked through their chargers.
i dunno joe had it for his radio packs
They are different voltages Mike. They have wall chargers for the reciever packs and radio packs.... the one for the starter box battery needs a power supply.
ok wasnt sure
