Well here I am on craigslist selling some corvette rims and I get a small inquiry, asking for high res pics. I go ahead and send them.

Then I get this response in the mail.

Get me the following information as soon as possible.

Thats a scam if I ever did see one. Idiots, you don't even qualify as a "scam artist", nothing artsy about you.

Get that alot from eBay listings too!
I'm sorry for the honest people out there, but I will NEVER take a personal check for anything. If its a small amount then you can do it cash, larger? I want a cashiers check, and even then I'll hold item until the check clears the bank.

Paypal is one of the few times I'll ship, as payment with paypal is pretty much payment. Though there are scams out there.
I'll take personal checks, but will not ship until my bank clears the check, which takes about 2 weeks.

My cousin was selling his Katana and got hit with a bad $4000 cashiers check! Still don't know how they did it but the bike was gone!
I get that crap Alot once i was elling a car on there and got a email that some one from nigeria sp? will buy my car for triple the price is i sent it there and they send a money order

then that happen 4 more times so i dont deal with craiglists selling anymore
