I'm going to be rebuilding the GS storm this week in hopes of racing next weekend at the rock pile (the madison, wi track).

For the buggy racers here, where would be a good place to start in regards to diff oil weight, suspension setup, brake bias, and any other tunable aspect for buggies?
As for diff oils, the most common setups are either 5000/5000/1000, F/C/R, or 5k/7k/1k. Brake bias is best tuned to your driving style. some like the front to grab more, some like the rear to grab a little more. The rear should be toe-in slightly, 1-2*, and the front should be toe-out 1-2*. front arms should be parallel to the ground, and the rear dogbone should be parallel.

These are all basic starting points, and you can tune from there. need more rear traction? soften the rear or stiffen the front springs. More steering? firmer rear or softer front springs.

Keeping in mind, I am fairly new to Buggy racing also, but these are starting points that were sugested to me.
Cool beans. I talked to chris (who sold me the buggy) and I asked him what he did to it. He never changed anything away from stock and has never taken it apart. So it looks like I got some work cut out for me to get it ready for next weekend.
