X2 Sad Why bash such a nice race buggy??
actually, the buggy survived unscathed, unlike every thing else that was in attendance, and i was not bashing the buggy Smile it's too new, i was racin the track. I did bash the crap out of my revo 3.3 though.
Cept the bottom of the chassis I bet..Oh well...At least it's the rtr and not kit.

becuase everyone knows, RCs that are designed to race make the best bashers. Smile

Rob is one person I WILL NOT argue about on this. LoL He takes VERY good care of his race bred basher. LoL I have an LSP we can play with now. Hahaha.... Big Grin
"scrapes on chassis". Well I for one don't subscribe to scrapes on a chassis equating with poor care, or abuse. It simply means you have run on concrete and thats part of bashing.

But that doesn't indicate that someone doesn't care for or, doesn't maintain their toys. As busted up and as dirty as my stuff is tonight, next week it will look clean, maintained, and ready to rip for the next time I run it.

The Jammin was a victim of a rock getting wedged by the on/off switch and shutting the buggy off while at full speed. The TRS is only strong enough to return it to neutral, and not apply brakes. But it was rolling along and a good enough clip (30mph+) that when it clipped a 30 or 40lb rock it tore the whole a-arm off. Both the shock (thank god), and the drive shaft survived without a scratch. I broke the upper A-arm, Lower A-arm, and a rock snapped the servo horn to bellcrank linkage. I had every part except for that linkage, so that put it down for the day.

The LSP was a victim of a big ass jump gone wrong. I was clearing double tables. Did it a few times, the 2nd time I found a rut or a rock and it got the truck off axis in air enough that what correction I did do wasn't enough. I laned on it, and broke case that the steering knuckle attaches to.

In both cases, I have all the parts for repair no problem. I'll do dissasembly tonight, clean them. Clean them again tomorrow night and then reassemble in time to head out to Monster Jam where i get to jump the monster trucks.Big Grin Confusedalute:

After monster jam the 30vg in the buggy is getting sold to Son1c, and a 528xr is going to replace it for an even more insanely fast basher buggy. I won't be happy until the buggy is so fast that the air under the chassis can actually lift it off the ground and flip it.
Jeez! lol. Video now!
The snails are uploading. Smile I only have 90kb/sec upload bandwidth.

The hub carrier?? Those are the ONLY thing I ever break on an LSP. (I broke 2 at the track because I am retarded. Sad )

I wasn't attacking, lol.

Figures you would say that!

amen!!
Yes, and looking back I look like an idiot who didn't spell check his work. Man, I even typed fast enough to omit words. lol.

In any case, yeah, the only thing the LSP busted was the hub carrier. Which was later in the day and I didn't feel like changing it there cause my fingers were cold as hell. And I had been neglecting the Jammin which has awesome flight manners. Then the runaway happened, stupid rock. Again I have the parts but I had pretty much had enough fun that I was content to just watch.

I wish someone had filmed me when I jumped the berm at full speed in the corners. Instead of riding the wall like Nelson, I decided to take it full bore and get some major air. Got so much air that it went much further than I thought and nearly landed on Kierre!

OH well, here are the vids.

I didn't bother with making a video, my camera sucks too much and the sound is terrible anyways. Cuts in and out, and even when I have sound it sounds like crap.
Pretty cool!
Man you had my hopes up I seen bmx and I was like yes Bmx bikes then I realized this was a rc site

chit won rc dot com?
i type that more often then i type the actual url.

i wish we had a bmx track around here. maybe sometime this winter i'll get around to making a 1/18th bashing video.
lol............you guys are hardcore!!!
That place is a mess when it's wet... I've only been there when it's dry and it's a total blast. That jump where you were doing a double with the losi is hard on a mammoth... I kept breaking traction and would either totally over shoot it and land flat or I'd undershoot and totally mess up. I never actually made it up to the starting point of that track. I spent most of my time on the lower end.
