He doesnt control the gas. He doesnt control the oil prices. OPEC does that. And those smart guys on wall st control all of it.
The world the way it once was is no longer there. And I dont see it coming back. With projections as low as 20 years and as high as 50 years for oil production. From 2000 and on,those numbers will always go lower till there is little or no oil left. Prices will run up and down because of that. And because of these nut cases like the leader of Iran. All they have to do is say something in their sleep and oil prices will jump. And the fuel companies know it too. So they will get theirs first. But it is just not the president that they have in their pocket. It is just about every other leader in this country.
And when have you ever heard of a CEO saying 'thanks for the nice $50mil bonus,but I dont need that. And I dont need to make $10+mil a year,so I will cut my pay'. So the whole 'the president is the reason' line doesnt cut it anymore. Because there are to many factors behind it now.
But as for saddam. I am glad to see him gone. Now who will be the next nutjob we go after? Kim over in north korea? The Iran leader? The world in that area has been a hornets nest for years. And finally they found a leader that was able to fly out of the hive and sting us. Now that hive is going crazy and now they know how and where to sting us. They will try to do it again. So it was just a matter of time before it happened. And it would have happened if they did their job back in the 90's when the WTC was bombed. All of this would be old news. But they failed,so the hive was left alone to rumble and get larger. And so here we are now.
