Anyone up for Hooters or Buffalo Wild Wings to watch UFC 66?? Should be a good main fight betwen Liddell and Ortiz.

Is that the one by the theater and ice rink?? If so I think that is where I am going. I believe the fighting starts at 9:00 right?? What time you getting there?

maxximum_44, my girlfreind and I go to a cool bar on Western Ave. one block south of Lawrence to watch the fights. It's right across from the Western EL stop. It's a liquor store/bar on the Southwest corner. Lots of hot chicks also!

Tito is a more rounded MMA fighter, and will be victorious.......Liddell on the other hand is a joke, he has been running from Wanderlei Silva from PFC for like a year now, UFC is , well.......weak and scripted to boot, i think Dana White and Vince McMahon hang out, New Years Eve is the night to watch MMA...........PFC SHOCKWAVE 2006.........Order this man, you wont be disappointed, I promise.

The bar shares a door between the liquor store. It's the same business,the sons took over the place and remodeled it. It's really nice now but man was it a dump before.

This is actually an easy argument
in his last 10 UFC matches chuck has faced 8 GnP(ground and pound)/ju jitsu specialist, and 2 strikers. Out of those fights only one has been victorious...Randy Coutoure who Gnp'ed chuck. Since that loss 3 yrs ago he's gone on to Knock out or TKO every UFC opponent he's faced, including both rematches knocking Randy out TWICE.
All Tito has to do is get chuck on the ground and control him there while dishing out punishment, Easy right? Courtoure couldn't do it in both rematches and Sobral, Horn, Bustamante, Randleman, Monson, Belfort all had their problems also.
So what it comes down to is... Can Tito get him down and keep him there, if not he has to strike with him...Bad news for Tito.

Mirko and Liddell have similar fighting styles and you just seen that he crushed wanderlei. If wanderlei and chuck were to meet in a ring/Octogon, I think chuck would have a good chance of doing the same. IMO a Mauricio "Shogun" Rua vs. Chuck Liddell fight would be a better match.

Well now we agree on something. Pride IS where its at PERIOD. Pride definetly has the best competion out there. UFC Heavy weight champ Tim "the maniac" Sylvia would have his hands full if he were to fight in prideFC.
When Anderson silva came over from pride to ufc he made winning the title from rich franklin look easy.

I'm going with Liddel, he has an extremely good sprawl which will make it hard for Tito to get him down. But Tito is also good on his feet although not as good as liddel. It will be an interesting fight, well worth watching.

Amazing fight so far! First round Liddel, second round Liddel. Third round to come. Just as I though tito cannot take Liddel down!!!!!! Liddel won in the third round by KO! Great fight.
Every fight was AMAZING. I called them all. I wanted Ortiz to win but I knew he probably wouldn't.... Great fights.

Ortiz is way to cocky! After he beat Shamrock his ego exploded and Liddel was right there to smack it back down! The Jardine and Griffith fight I was dissapointed with! Forrest is an amazing fighter and to be taken out like that just sucks! Arlovski VS ???, that had to be the funniest fight I have ever seen in the UFC!

yes i do, just a bad day for Silva, Krocop has one weapon, a high left leg kick, I seen Mark Hunt crush Krocop, I seen Kevin Randleman pound his face in, literally. Wanderlei Silva is one of THE best MMA fighters in the world, its a well known fact, and yes, Lidell is running from him, and has been, Silva is on a whole other level then Lidell.........bottom of the line is Dana White wont lwet Lidell fight, he knows better, PfC ring rules are hardcore man, you cant dispute that, if and when we see this fight between Lidell / Silva..........You will see the difference and skills that "trained" MMA fighters from real camps posess, personally, I dont waste my time on UfC anymore, their heavyweight champ is 10 twinkie eating, clumsy sluggish brawler, their are middleweights in PfC that could take Tim Silvia.........UfC is just too commercialized / reality based for me, its fighting, not days of our lives.......just my .02........
