The key part there is 2003....
that is correct....lol, i know, my car is old......but it seems to work fine for me, are their any 9.5's that run at LH? their is still a lot of them around i believe Smile
i havent seen anyone race one for about three years or so

I am sure there are one or two out there each weekend. They are not among the competative guys though I would say....
thats good to hear!!!! well, thats becuse of their driving skills, not the cars performance ( well maybe the setup they are utilizing ) the 9.5 is still very capable of making the A-main with the right person piloting it xD
no dan i really have not seen one at any track in like 3 years lol
well, i will have to come up there when i get my NRrex engine and kick some tail with my 9.5 lol j/k, I have been practicing a lot with my driving skills on a small track nearby, we are gonna build the drivers stand when the weather breaks, Its on my friends property....In regards to racing, I cant get away from the 9.5 yet, I lost my salary position and im now on unemployment, However i think i have a line on a tour coming up soon, TBH I dont think i will get another buggy, But i am gonna have a truggy by spring along with Spektrum radio, that much i do know, and then maybe sometime I will come to LH and try my shot at the drivers stand for buggy / truggy classes, you guys are so lucky to live where there is a place as awesome as LH....I seen there is a cheap hotel close by......I dunno, just a thought Smile

I was there! Big Grin Czech.... they are there at LH occasionally. Like I said.... not competative though. You are too busy wrenching on the turd to notice them. :p:

And even with a good driver they are still not going to be i nthe top mains IMO.
when were u there lol
The weekend before Christmas. It didn't go to well. I went back to Truggy. LoL

yeah, thats an opinion, not a fact

dude, u give Drake a 9.5, and he would pwn any one of us with any car, and most people for that matter, i havent raced in 18 yrs, but the principles are the same, run smooth laps, go to the mains....the people that arent making the mains at LH with 9.5 are not competitive themselves.....I could be just as fast as a X1-crt with my 9.5...It all depends on my skills as a driver, not how new / popular the car is, you can have the baddest ride in the world, but if you suck at piloting, you are on your lid the entire race :p:
sorry but i dont care what car u give drake, tebo, kortz degani, saxton, maifield, james, tillman, pavidas, hughes etc etc etc they will walk all over us
that is true bro, Its the skills they posess as driver not the car they are driving, I was a decent racer when I was a kid, U guys ever hear of R&R hobby in Quincy, Il? ( stormer Hobbies bought the rest of the inventory ) It was a big place in the 80's, I was a young kid, But my mom was supporting my hobby bigtime, it was sweet...lol.........but yeah, they hosted some big events their, Like the Reedy mods, I met Halsey when he was driving an rc10 for Associated. I think i still have what it takes to be competitive, I just need the damn budget.......lol Smile

The guy that was the owner of R&R is my uncles close friend.......Him and Ernie Provetti are very close friends, Jim Deiter was his head tech guy for team R&R, then he left Quincy and went to Trinity......I have thought about approaching Roy ( owner of R&R ) about a sponsorship for a racing rig
why not man tell him to help u out
lol, I dunno man, I may, I just am not sure on how to approach the situation since I dont have any current race stats in an organization........Lets just say, if that could happen, I would get a 8ight buggy, and 8ightT truggy.....lol haha, i highly doubt it, but yeah, I think i may run it by my uncle, they talk all the time, so maybe he will mention it to him, Roy now owns a golf shop, and auto dealership.

On another note, the local Harley Davidson dealer just opened a hobby shop ( Action Hobby ).......They mainly deal in Traxxas, Team Associated, and Hot Bodies, but he would be a candidate to approach as well, he sponsors a motocross team, and a drag bike Smile
tell him ill run a harley davidson themed body if he pays for all my travel hahahah lol
haha!!!! no way........hes my connection lol............He would really be they guy to approach, hmmmm, the Midwest Nitrocross would be a good foundation for me to stand on with him...........Is it a points shootout between the 7 rds?
i guess i never did it, its never been a really big series around here
ok cool, well anyways, I will FOR SURE come up to LH this spring and run outdoors for a weekend some time.......something else i thought of,the supplier for his hobby shop is Horizon........hmmmm, theres my cheap Losi kits Smile lol, that would work out great
