It does everything better for me than my sp2 did and even made me look fast for about every third lap. just wanted to let anyone that was one the fence know, do it it wont be sorry. i let a few people drive it tonight and they said the same thing. Will this be the new FOM? Better than the 8ights out there? damn...
Yeah... Came home smashed and wasnt tired so what do i do... Get straight on chitown! LOoooL!!!!

Ahem.... Let me clear up what i was tryin to say.... Ive already received 300 bucks in credit to Amain so i think that will get spent on the mbx5R. I plan on selling the jammin even though the market is slim to none
Ill give you 50 bucks for that pile.
ponch i drove a losi and this was 10 times better imo

been there, done that...LOL
I dont think this mugen stuff is FOM anymore. This may be more of a legit deal here.
FOM nothing, X5 has been around for a few years. its just that all the bashers sold there Revo's for GS storms and used Kyoshos then they get some racing experience after learning with a different buggy and beating the crap out of it, they get a new buggy and its the best ever. Give it a few months and something else will be the best ever. Wink
the old mbx5 blew a fat load man
hey joe, i got your basher right here.......Wink
Can some of the more technical guys PLEASE say what makes the Mugens better than the Losi or the Kyosho buggies/trugs? I read a lot of "it feels better" or "it drives better" comments. What exactly makes this thing better? And is it better because the setup you had for the tesat was better maybe? Or motor, or tires, or ?????

It just seems that there are SO MANY variables on any car that jumping out and immediately saying a new one is way better than this one or that one might be premature?

Details please....it helps more than "feelings".

Thanks

ps: Just because it's FOM, doesn't mean that it can't be the real deal!

Why you wanna put your basher sportturd motor in somthing?
ok dave, from my view point, i drove mitchells losi, so it was deffinitly setup very good for LH, the setup on my new mugen i got straight from al richards, so it is setup very well too. when i drove the 8 it was good jumped good, turned in very good, too good if you are not careful, pushed a little coming out of the corner. the kyosh that i drove for 3 months, also setup with help from people at Lh, i liked it for the most part other than the fact that if i got on the gas too soon or didnt let the car settle down before going into a turn it could be a handful, for me atleast. the new mugen seemed to do everything the losi could do good, but it was alot more relaxed and stabile, almost felt like my truggy in a buggy body. just my opinion and i would be glad to let anyone drive it.
Now this goes with the 5T. But still an answer. With the ST-1 I had before,I just never could get the feel of it. I do have to say that I noticed it liked the jumps. For the short time I had it,it did fly well.
But once I got the 5T,the 'feel' was there. Yes it is alittle bit more to control over the ST-1. But I am learning that the more I have it out on the track. So for me,it was all about the feel and the connection with the truck. Knowing what it is going to do while out on the track.
and after driving a 5T i liked my st1 better Smile
Drive mine next... im sure you'l find its quite nice!
ROCCO...........welcome brudda. Smile
chitown bashers unite! Wink lol

ok so im gonna go with 4,7,1 in the diffs and 350 in all the shocks.
