I know dell has one for 499 and best buy has some good deals 399. But if you want a good laptop should go with ibm think pads for arround 799 ish

Compaq or IBM. Dell is good but cheaper with the exception of the xps line. If you want graphics and speed with udder disregard for cost Alienware hands down. The guy that does all of our graphics at work has an alienware and the thing is insane. Also all of our engineers and software designers use IBM and love them. I work with a Compaq all day and the thing is lightning fast with 1 gig of ram. Could use a bigger hard drive(45 gig) since most of it is used up with 30 gig of music.
