A few weeks ago I landed a jump and my spektrum Rx just quit. Locked itself into some kind of fail safe mode, but it wasn't at the fail safe settings stored for the truck.

Sent it in. Well a few weeks later I got it back. Only instead of a standard 3ch Spektrum Rx, I got a Spektrum PRO back. Big Grin

So I did a little researching. Apparently the original spektrum Rx SR3000 is prone to dying from static discharge between the board and the plastic case. And they fixed it on the Spektrum Pro SR3001 Rx. But I haven't read if they fixed it on the SR3000 models.

So SCORE! Now if I only had the Spektrum Pro Tx to go with it. Oh well, my servo's aren't fast enough to show any lag between the SR3000 and the SR3001.Confusedalute:
Cool, Ill Have to remember that. If one of mine fail.
nice, that IS service
no ponch getting a free vspec after a 7 gallon one blew up is service lol

glad u got ur sutff replaced, horizon has always been good about that with servos and stuff, but it does take awhile to get it back sometimes
Yeah, I was getting nervous when I hadn't heard word back from them after the first servo I sent them took 5 weeks to get it back. I was wondering if was going to get my Rx back before I left for Monster Jam Jan 5th.

As for OS's service I have nothing but good words for them.

So far I've sent them 2 motors. A 30vg, and a 18tm. The 30vg developed a crack in the block while running in a flat parking lot doing speed runs. At no point did the engine hit more than 250*. It must have been a small crack from a bad landing a while before. I received a brand new OS30vg back with parts off my old engine too.

The 18tm I got in trade with a revo for a 1/8th scale buggy. The engine was so shot that you could spin the crank by hand with JUST the shaft. No pinch at all. OS didn't give me a new one, but they completely rebuilt it. Which was fine by me.
