Will LH allow electric conversions to run in the Monster truck class? How about electric conversions for 1/8 buggy?

Just wondering cuz i was thinking about trying out some racing, but all of my vehicles are nitros convereted to electric? A Revo and a Matrix.

I'm sure they will be fast enough to keep pace with the nitros, My driving skills on the other hand are going to be very questionable.

Also, does anyone know what night I would need to go to practice with vehicles like these? I figure I should at least get in 4 or 5 practice sessions before trying to race.

I am a long time basher but a newb to racing so any help is apreciated?
hmmm? Bernie?

Electric MT has no class in electric, really, so you prolly have to run against nitros, and those long mains could be an issue for battery life? Same goes for 1/8 scale buggy.
How long are the mains?

I can get 20 minutes of racing out of a lipo pack no problem.
MT...15-20 max

Buggy...I THINK 20-30 max

But the guy that might know best is Bernie (bubbacola is his screen name). He operates the track.
Yea... 1/8 Buggy Might be a problem.... 20 minutes is doable... 30 minute might be tough.

I guess I could pit and change batts. It would be along pit, but would probably only need one.

What about practice nights... Nitro night or electric night? or both Wink

So.. I guess I'll wait to see if Bernie can give me the low down.

Thanks for the info.
for club races all A mains are 15 minutes
you can bring those suckers out on a thursday or friday, I don't think the electric guys would want that big heavy car on the track comparred to their 3lb machines.

I would think nitro night would be better for a MT and 1/8 buggy whether it's powered by electric or nitro...
I can see a nice brushless buggy smoking everyone in the hand of a capable driver.... no need to pit against the nitro boys who will.
Duplicate post... Oops

Unfortunatley.... Capable I am not.

I have heard of other tracks forcing minumum pit times for electrics racing against nitro to even that out. Not looking for an advantage, just looking to go out and have some fun.
I say go for it.... they should let you run no problem I would imagine.
Thanks for the input guys. Went out last night. Now I just have to learn how to drive. Damn I was terible... Not as easy as it looks to get around the track clean. Much more practice is in order before even attempting a race.
Ahh that's you! Cool, another person I know from here now.
your revo looked good on the track for the little bit i saw

Slow,

This is a revo that I actually bought from you last summer right when the 3.3 came out. Picked it up at your shop but you were out.
