Do any of you guys bother strapping your tires to keep them from ballooning?
Ive never tried it before, so maybe I'll just leave them alone and glue'm up
heard its not good too do...

I did it to my CF's and two sets of Boas, and to be honest I can't tell if they balloon or not while they sit on my workshop bench.......Rolleyes

I wasnt set on doing it anyway, I just thought I see what others have to say on the subject.

Ive got them glue'n up now with no straps Smile
i really doesnt help, if u have a car that has traction ur tires wont balloon on power anyway.....Wink

Yep on that k2 "truggy" I guess you could call it. I liked the handling much more when the tires were able to balloon compared to when they couldn't because of strapping.
I've tried it and it does help to some degree. I used the 2" wide 3M strapping tape. Thing is, after a short while, the tires seemed out of balance. So I baked them off of the rims and found that the tape had come loose from the tires even though I had cleaned them thoroughly. I don't bother any longer I use the nice GRP molded foams. Problem solved.
