Venture hobbies had probably 25 of them on tues by now they may be just about gone.
LH said over the phone that they have 20 in stock as of monday but I think they meant next monday aka 3 days from now.
how much are these at LH? anyone know?
79 bucks. Same as everywhere else. Yeah, they should have them this coming monday. They sold out this past Sunday. I saw them hand over their last one. I should have mine by then too. I drove their demo model around the store. Very fun! My son was not happy about having to give it back either.
$79 is too much for that IMO

I was thinking maybe $59 or less

+1

I don't see how that little car can cost that much.
Well they seem to be flying off the shelves at that price.
I/m sure they are being the mini FOM
I'm sure the price will come down after the X-mas season. Its a new toy and something that parents can get into.

Besides, how much can some Tyco/Nikko..etc RC's cost. $70 isn't a bad price, sure I'd like it cheaper, but for what it is it isn't bad.
I'm sure the frices will drop after Christmas. Mini-Ts were hot at $200 when they were the first, then dropped down to $99 RTR. I just had to have one. Especially since I dont buy Xboxs and Playstations and such. New R/C oddities for under 80 bucks are right up my alley. You should see my collection of microsizers!

Hell, they charge as much or more for 1/32 slot cars, and they are limited to a slot track, unlike the new Micro-T. I plan to drive my cat up the wall. That alone is priceless.
Big GrinBig GrinBig Grin Got mine today Big GrinBig GrinBig Grin

Stock charger is iffy, I threw it on my peak charger and the pack lasted at least 2x as long and had much more power. I also broke a turnbuckle by clipping a mini-t, and replaced that with a peice from a milk jug. Lost a wheel e-clip, so a dab of shoe goo is replacing it and it is working very well. The rear is super soft, so what you do is take a peice of fuel tubing (about 1-2mm) and put that on the shock like a preload spacer. The thing is though, if you move it down the shock it will stay there and compress the spring more so now you have adjustable shock preload without any clips. Smile
Why is EVERYTHING you own jury rigged within 8 hrs??!!?!!! LoL!!!!!
I would have gotten turnbuckles but LH doesn't have any replacement parts yet.

And because I can :p:

It's fast as hell though and the stock tires grip up on carpet like there's no tomorrow..

I'll get a vid later, doing homework right now
That 8ight doesnt have a chance.... LoL!!!!! j/k
doh...

I can at least get parts for that, this I can't. Hey, I'm TL all the way again, cool.
tl?
team losi???

rocco u didnt get to see his zip tie shock clips, i had to give him anything i had left to keep myslef from puking..Smile
TL=Team Losi, correct.

My shock clips were fine....The did what they were supposed to do and guarnteed never to come off. Confusedlap:
I wish I remembered my quote about you ghetto-rigging everything. It was priceless. :-(
Coming from the guy with 20 feet of fuel tubing and a confused look on his face when the motor runs like shit...:p:

Dude.... is that all you have on me? ONE time?? My motor still ran better upside down than yours do on a "race" tune. Rolleyes
Ask Rocco how that v-spec ran on a race tune!!! That thing screamed!

Yeah.... screamed for help. Didn't it go kaboom already?
Yes it died, but that is a mystery. Ran perfect, you can ask Roc like I said or Mike who double checked my tune on there.

Anyway, back on topic. $6 for a new set of wheels and tires (all 4!)
Looks like you found and r/c that you can afford.Wink
