So from what I was told when I stoped in at work today was that we were robbed the night before, already in the back of my mind im thinking "yeah right". We did someone broke in about 10:30 p.m the night before and well made off with a few things, nothing major just 3 Traxxas trucks. Naperville PD got all CSI and dusted for prints  ( ITS A HOBBY STORE THERE ARE MILLIONS OF FINGER PRINTS!). So if you guys hear anything at the tracks or just anywhere about anyperson ripping off the Naperville HobbyTown shoot me a PM.
Who's dumb enough to rob a hobby shop and take TRAXXAS trucks!?!?!?!
LMAO! Ponch!
Funniest post by poncho ever!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously though... Why wouldnt they they dust!?!?!! Think about it... Say the DO find the guy/girl... They will take prints off that person and they will compare to what they find in the store. If they so happen to have a match they have pysical proof that person WAS infact in the store at some point. effectively linking them to the scence of the crime....

Watch some CSI dude, if anything the readhead is a MILF! LoL!
yea, i mean theres gotta be better products, especially if they took tmaxx's not revo's. i wouldnt be surprised id we see someone on any forum talking about how they have 3 brand new traxxas trucks for sale, or hell, even one.
"Here ya go Little Johnny, Merry Christmas! Just don't break it because it doesn't have a warranty and we can't take it to a shop for repairs."

It's too bad that the products don't have serial numbers on the outside of the carton, like computers and IPods. Then the store's inventory control software would know exactly which trucks were missing, and when the "new owner" sent in the warranty card, they could be tracked down and made to drive Hasbro XRC truck instead.
3 new stampedes, for sale.cheap !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just came in last night. Confusedmash: Wink Wink

Most likely, A couple of Crack Heads
If you rob a church you'd better be pretty sure there's no heaven or God.
No joke.

But get this...

I'm a systems engineer/tech salesperson for a large systems integrator in the Chicago area. We design/install/service security systems, sound reinforcement systems, audiovisual systems, voice & data systems, etc.

A couple years ago at a Catholic health care facility I was called in to design a camera system for the hospital/healthcare facility following the theft of 12 crucifixes (Jesus on the Cross) that were hung on walls in the corridors. The were stolen within 48 hours of the time they were put up. can you imagine stealing a cross? Wouldn't you BURN IN HELL for that?

Then someone was stealing $$$ from the vending machines in the Cafe. I suggested we bury a microcamera in a clock that was in the cafe near the machines to catch the thief next time around. The clock was stolen the day before we came out to install it!!!!!

I then custom built a camera into a sprinkler head and we caught the guy within days.

The whole experience was just crazy.
It was a nun, right?
LOL! No, it was a hispanic maintenance guy, but a Nun is much funnier!
Was it Resurrection Healthcare?
How did you know?
you built a camera into a sprinkler head?got pics? i have to see that! i know they do it in vagas, but not around here.
Yes, I did. I have pics of it somewhere (not digital). If I run across them I'll let you know, but I'd have to go thru a few to find it.

our church was robbed.....luckily they only keep a little money in the safe, and have the rest put into a bank account, so the guy or girl only got away with under 100 bucks........pretty sad

What if they don't send in for the warranty. Now whats your smart plan? Big Grin
Rocco, I'm a CSI nut. I can understand linking them to the scene but there was a boat load of people in the day and the odds of finding anyone is almost slim to none.
still theres a chance....
Besides you should know about S.O.P.'s
