As many of you may know, I've been plagued by rear diff problems these last few months. While at camp max, I yet again suffered front wheel drive syndrome yet again. I didn't even bother checking the truck out. I set it on the ground and said screw it, i'll just film some footage. I'll fix it when I get back.

Well yesterday night, I got the savage on the work table in my garage to begin repairs. That's when I noticed that I was missing a rear dogbone! Well I'll be damned. I took off the rear suspension and inspected the diff. It was fine! It was simply a broken axle dogbone. I could have raced in the mt main at camp maxx if I had simply looked at it first Sad.

Lesson learned: When you assume, you make and ass out of you and me.

Thanks for reading.
It's all good..... At least you ended up with some good race footage....

Same thing has happened to me. The LST would bind up when I rolled it, so I immediately thought Diff problems.... Took apart the diffs, and they were fine. I later found out that it is because of the Metal to Metal brake set-up. Put on the new pads, and no more problems. (except while trying to tune down the brakes, a quick brake movement would send the truck into a VIOLENT forwrad flip)
