Between the RTR 8ieght & The kit,
Trying to decide which one would be better for me to start with.
well one is a kit and one comes RTR.........theyre the same buggy only the RTR comes with a roto start engine a roto start, spektrum dx2 radio
I think there are some other differences though-look thru the pics, and look at the shock towers.
the rtr will have less bling and hopups. I am not sure on specifics wiht the 8, but usually the kit is more of a pro version. Beefier shock towers, aluminum center braces etc. The extra hop ups etc is there in exchange for an engine and crappy radio system.

Get the kit, learn the vehicle by building it, and then you can put in your own elctronics and engine... Best way to do it IMHO
Go kit all the way.

are you sure?? or just guessing, cause i could have sworn I read that in the magazine they are the same onlt they have the mtotr and crap

maybe i read it wrong??
then the RTR should cost double
nope the RTR is like 625-650
The only diff it the shock towers and shock caps
springs are different too Rocco. Remember we looked at finals at the display. Didnt the guy say the chassis is stamped on the RTR and milled on the kit too ? I know the shock caps, towers and springs were different. But theres something else that was different about the 2.
Your right.... I forgot about that stuff

Well if they are the same . it would make sense to go with the RTR.
$50.00 more and you get motor pipe servo's and radio
well i guess they arent the same from what the guys above said, but yeah maybe buy the RTR and sell the radio and motor and servos and make osme extra $$ and use that $$ for upgrades or w/e
dont bother the radio and stuff is a b*tch to sell and get any money for get a kit u cant go wrong
yeah when I do get a different buggy i will definately get a kit
I like my 8ight so far...The baggys seem organized lol.
man it must suck to day after day have to sit and stare at the box, and not be able to build it....oh well lol
Ehh. Kinda happy with how my current buggy is running, having some second thoughts but still excited! Haven't seen it for a week or two though.
dont get too used to it lol driving that eight is really gonna scare u haha
Went with the rtr. Started braking it in saturday at the track.
Stock Tires Dont work very well.

Don't ever go that route if there is already a upgraded kit version available. It ends up costing you more money and hassle to sell stuff just to re-buy stuff.
