Overview

The Team Losi 8IGHT redefines 1/8 off-road nitro buggy racing with the first new and unique buggy design in over 10 years.. The 8IGHT uses the same innovative thinking, sophisticated technology, hi-tech materials, and cutting-edge design that has separated Team Losi's racing vehicles from the rest of the pack for over 25 years. The look is different, the handling has been vastly improved, and the features are endless. From the centrally mounted motor, to the oversized shocks, to the 4-shoe clutch, to the extra-thick machined chassis, everywhere you look there are ingenious features that yield both performance and durability. The revolutionary drivetrain, meticulous attention to detail and brilliant design are simply unmatched. The 8IGHT offers the enthusiast a 21st century off-road racer that is easy to tune, easy to maintain, and most of all easy to drive fast.

Starter Box Modification:

To help prevent the chance of pebbles locking up the flywheel, the 8IGHT was designed with a smaller hole where the starter wheel bumps against the flywheel. Most starter boxes will work, but if you have a starter box with a wide wheel, then you will need to chamfer the edges with a file (Reference the red triangles in the pictures below). Be sure to use eye protection. It is also critical that your 8IGHT chassis is lined up "perfectly" with the starter wheel on the starter box. We recommend doing this while you’re assembling your 8IGHT after Assembly Bag F.

Chamfer the edges of your starter wheel. Please wear eye protection while filing.

Make sure your 8IGHT lines up perfectly on your box.

check out the novarossi bf. Its a great biggy engine at a cheap price. With you being a dealer not sure how costs work with all that
rb s3 or os vg both cheap and plenty of motor esecially for indoor.
I am being warned about this P7r Evo motor. We shall see how it does in the truck. It was in my friends jammin buggy and it did well.
yeah the s3 is plenty of power for indoor

The rtr Chassis is different. It is stamped, but it looks to be the same thickness. And a few other things are different.
PLus the kit comes with a tuning kit.
(Extra springs Sway bars & ackerman Arm)
