Thanks Jeff Confusedalute:
Welp, in the GT world I would think it's the FOM... If you want the "latest and greatest" there it is.

There are MANY accomplished 1/10 drivers that would completely disagree with ponch... It not a FOM, its the real deal... The original rc10gt has been around for what , 13 years or so??? They took all that has been learned from that and have improved apon a world champion design...
I think that you you would do fine with an original rc10gt but if you can have the new version why not right!?!?!
+1 with Rocco. Pick up the latest XRC where they review the GT2. They say there is nothing wrong with the old GT, but there is so much more RIGHT with the GT2. If you have a tight budget, get an older GT, or a Losi XXX-NT. Either is great.
thats cool I really like the looks and feel of it. I had a evader but was told that this is leaps and bounds better. Also it helps that my hobbystore guy has one in stock and told me he'd do layaway with me. yea:joy:
think of an evader as dinosaur poop... Extremley outdated and , well... POOP! Gt2 is cutting edge top of the line
ponch ur a dumass
Yeah ok...
as long as we agree

being that I have never raced before.... what would I have to do to this truck out of the box to be competitive besides practice driving lol. Do these trucks need chassis upgrades or diffrent motors? I am sure the stock tires wouldn't cut it. I am completly clueless here so if you have any help it would be great. I think I am going to get it.
I'm not sure about this truck, but an upgraded radio and electronics never hurt. And like you said, tires.
Tires, quick servos, mabye a new motor but the stock one probably has enough to get around the track at a decent speed.
are the servos that come with a jr xr2i anygood? I was thinking about gettin one of those to go with it
Not sure, what are the servo's names?
not sure just the stock jr's I guess
They're usally 1 590 and 1 270. The 590 is ok for throttle, the 270 isn't good for much at all imo.
lol ok
For a GT ya need a decent high torque/high speed steering servo for sure, i'll get ya the # off the one I have in my GT, so which one ya gonna get a GT2 or a GT? Also have ya seen stratcat at work? I've tried calling him and no luck?

Matt:headbang:
Yeah sorry, kinda forgot this was for a gt. I would think both of those servos would work in there well. I was thinking with my revo for some reason.

I wonder where strat is too, mabye I'll call him later. idk
strat's there I see him everyday. I'll probably get the gt2. Seems like a pretty nice truck. I'll tell him mon you were lookin for him
