Heading up tonight to play with the buggy on the track. Normally I just find a local spot and bash, but bashing isn't the same as actually having to control it on a course.

Course last time I went out I had a bald tires, and front brakes only...which was a problem. Had to go very slow and slow down very early cause all it would do was just plow under braking, go figure I wonder why?:joy:

But now i have a set of CF's on there, and front/rear brakes. Woohoo.Confusedmash: Now i have no excuse for my driving.
yup im going
I came, I saw, I didn't break anything. Smile OS 30 ran good, Jammin didn't break, other than the stripped shock cap I had on there that I expected to go much sooner than it did.
how'd those crimes hook up indoor? Try an indoor tire and you'll be amazed at how much better you can wheel the thing.
Yeah, but I don't go all that often, so the crimes just kind of do their thing for me.

I only went through about 400cc's of fuel though. Not very much at all.

Ran like 4 times the whole night. The rest I spent talking, and marshalling.

Car went very good, hard to hook up on the back straight though. Alot of speed in the back straight and I had to get on the brakes just past half way on the back straight. With better tires I probably could have hit the brakes later, but the crimes worked good for me. I got them for the track since I rarely go, and can't really justify spending another $50 on tires and foams when I have only been to the track maybe 4 times this year.
buy a used set from snakebite, they will last you all year.
Me personally, if I went 4 times a year I would want to make every trip worth it.
All I know is I knew my time on the track as a marshall was over when I could see steam coming off my head LOL.
been there!
