I wouldn't try it at all. With pop machines being $.75-1.00 you just get the free pop.

Since the pop machine at my work is owned and stocked by the company, the pops are .50 so I will definately be trying this.
for video games and pinball,
We would drill a small hole in a quarter and tie thin fishing line to it.

if you own the company then you only pay for it once. If you use the machine to pay for a pop you just get it back when you empty the machine of money, DUH lol.

We have them at our mall with energy drinks in them too. You have to hold the door shut for a good while (seems like forever, probably 20 seconds) The can/bottle will start bouncing around and stuff because it can't get thru the door and eventually the thing just goes down. The only downside is that the "letter/number" that it came from will now register as "Sold Out". So you get your change back, and then you put it back in (haha) and make another selection. Make sure it's something from the left side of the machine though, just to be safe(the pop's might fall ontop of each other and get stuck).
