Im going to Leisure Hours, probably today to buy some servo's.
I just cant deside which ones to get.
Ive been running my Airtronics 94359z's for 1 1/2 years with no problems, but it seems they might be getting slower over time??? Maybe its just me, cause they still work great.
So Im going to get two more servo's, so I can run both my ST-R and SP2.
I was thinking on trying something new like Futaba's, I like the Ace servos too, but I dont think Leisure Hours has them?
I'd get the 94359z's again, but it would be nice if I didnt have to spend over $225 on servos.
I'm a Futaba fan.
I've been running 9350 and 9351 servos in all my stuff (cars, trucks, boats) for years now and haven't had any problems.
I'm sure others work just as well, be we all have our favorites.

I got a 94359z and a 357 il sell ya both for 150 shipped. They were both sent in to get new cases and wires, and they were both inspected and came back in like new condition from airtronics.
I say Futaba 9351 on steering and futaba 9451 on th/br.... Now that is a KILLER setup
I like my JR8800S (speed) servo and my 8800T (torque) servo. They work well, but I wouldn't get the torque one, too slow IMO. The speed servo has a great amount of torque and is super fast.
the ace servos are awesome and if you order from amain you can get it to your door next day.
Ace those ace servos as loud as the stock ones I have in the ST-1?

I ended up getting the Futaba digital 9350 for steering and the 9451 for the throttle/brake to go in the SP2...and I spent under $200
Now I just need to put the Air 94359z's back in the ST-R...
Both the ST-1 and Revo are getting 5997TG's for steering.
Right now,just a 645MG for throttle in the Revo. Stock in the ST-1. Not sure what to get for that.
any reason why you didnt just get 2 9451's? Theres only like 15oz of difference in torque. Just curious.

yep, 9350 is better for steering.
9350 aint that great for steering. they only have 130oz of torque. You should have atleast 180oz for steering in a buggy or truggy. I had the 9350 in my buggy before and switched to the Hitec ti 188oz'r. As far as the ACE servos, those things are kickass and the replacement gears sets are like $15 from amain.
9350 is rated at 130oz, feels like 180oz.
Some companies such as Hitec and Air seem to over rate their specs, Futaba seems to underrate theirs. Just my observation, you can use whatever servos you are happy with.
I had a 9451 in steering on my 10lb supermaxx and it steered on a dime. That's only rated at 120oz.
go to amain for those. Its cheaper.
I was just linking for specs.
Go to LHS for these, we may not have hobby shops much longer because of on-line stores getting most of the business.

Im no racer.... but thats the same setup I have in my sp2 and it works great.
But if online saves ya some $$$ why not go online ??? Local shops need to lower prices to stay in business.
If homer can sell tires for 11.00 a pair, A main for 15.00 and Leisure sells them for 20.00.... I think most people would go online to save 18.00 for a full set.
