Anyone familiar with the IRS? I found out that my moran boss(he thinks hes a freaking genius) has the IRS looking for him. From what i hear for almost a year now.(he been avoiding them) A lady came into my work last week looking for him finally and he just happened to be gone.Im not to familiar with the IRS stuff. All i know is its bad if they are looking for you. Does anyone know what and why the possible reasons they would be looking for him and what are the consequences he could be facing.I cant stand this guy so i want to bask in the glow of knowing he could be in some deep stuff and possibly meet some convicts plunger!LOL LMK
prolly getting audited
so he is hidding something and by getting audited they will find out hes a crook?
they will find out he is not reporting something on his taxes, basically the numbers dont add up lol
that wouldnt suprise me
Mike i didnt know you where so versed in the united states tax system.... LOL
i didnt know u were such a fan of warm ice cream!
uh...
They don't knock on your door to audit you....when you get an "in person" visit you're probably in real deep $hit.
Yep deep doggie poo

It is a matter of time if he keeps ditching them---it will catch up to him
If your boss is the owner---they can seize the business and all it's stuff.
If that happens---where will you go and work and get the rest of your pay you have comming to you???

Start looking for a new job right away.
I only knew one man who had the IRS look for him. He was a "friend" of our family. He was caught & convicted of multiple counts of tax evasion and fraud trying to save his a$$ and his failing business. After being sentenced to several years in a federal prison, but before he actually had to go to prison, he offed himself on X-mas eve in his garage.
Remember three things when dealing with the IRS (my father has his IRS Agent card):

1. Deduct ANYTHING you want on your taxes. They can only deny the deduction and make you pay the taxes if you get audited. Hiding income is what gets you sent to jail...ask Al Capone.

2. Do your homework on deductions. Based on your income level, there are standard acceptable ranges of deductions for things like Charitable Contributions. If your deduction amount falls within acceptable ranges, you are less likely to get audited.

3. Once you get audited, you are very likely to get audited again in following years, even if your returns go back to "looking normal". Once the IRS system has you tagged as a tax cheater, they latch on for a long ride.

And don't forget, the IRS is the Government, and they are going to have more resources to nail you than you have to defend yourself. Be careful, and don't say I didn't warn ya.
