Anyone here had it?? A friend of mine had some and said it was absolutely wild. I guess traditionally you are supposed to mix it with water, add sugar, and a whole bunch of other good steps I am probably missing. The other downside to it other than being complicated..... I believe it is *cough* illegal *cough* in the U.S. However that company guarantees delivery..... hmmmmm. Anyone have any experience that could fill me in? LoL (Ahhh College.)

its not illegal in Bulgaria, Smile i bought a bottle the last time i was there, be careful you will piss hot on a drug test if you use it however, it contains THC
Go watch the movie Eurotrip!!! It should answer your question, lol.
I just watched on history channel an episode of modern marvels, it was all about alcohal and there was about 10 mins dedicated to absinthe!
Supposedly the drink was "demonized" by the wine makers of france due to the fact it was more popular than thier product...
The green fairy is supposedly a side affect from poor quality absinthe (the extremley green color too is a sign of a bad one) Theres a guy in europe that reverse engineered a few bottle of very old very high quality absinthe and is know producing it in great volume as many countries are re-legalizing the drink... They never said it contained thc but who knows some absinthe could have... They say the product remains in limbo in the u.s.
Absinthe itself is not illegal in the USA. The Wormwood that is used in the making of absinthe is the only thing that raises a problem. It is illegal to sell any product made with wormwood.

Here's a little more info, and an Absinthe Home brew kit...

Basically, absinthe is a flavored grain alchohol. The kit comes with everything you would need.
Home brewing absinthe! LOL! Another reason it became unpopular was because beople who drank too much suffered a host of medical problems including brain damage. Although, booze will do that to ya.
Heres the deal with the legality of Absinthe! You can purchase it and have it shipped to your house as long as the seller is not in the united states! A liquor store may not sell the alcohol. That is why the can guarantee delivery. Also I don't think there is THC in it because then it would be completely illegal in the US as that is the "drug" in mary jane. It is the Wormwood that acts as the haluccinogen(sp?). If you pick some up dan let me know, we'll split shipping!
Actually Absinthe does not contain THC but Thujen. Thujen is not actually classified as a drug but a poison that has some similar effects to THC.

I don't posess the required epuipment to have brain damage anyways!!

"I plead the fifth, and drink it to!"
Mike there was too much of a copper based chemical in low quality absinthe that was causing the brain damage....
