You didn't hijack it if you plan on bringing it to LH on Saturday! Smile

Any reason why you haven't cut the weight in half (or more) and gone lipo yet?

Brian

PS: I'll try and be there by 10am ish. Hopefully it does not snow.
so seeing as today it snowed, hailed, and was way to cold, what happens if it snows? lol someone who's planning on going fairly early wanna give me a call, so i know if you're all still going, so i don't drive 2 hours and find out it's raining/snowing, ect?

oh, how do i get there from woodstock?
I'm still planning on going.. and will be leaving my house around 9:30 am.

No idea on directions from there. If you want to msg me a #.. I can call. That is a heck of a drive though.

Brian
from Woodstock:
47 south 1,988,564 miles to rt.6, go east............

Seriously...from Woodstock
47 south
I90 east
290 south
I355 south
I55 south (pass I80)
exit on route 6, east
brandon, right
go 1/2 mile to first street on right (after overhead bridge) go right
take that 3 miles till you see little brown signs on your right side that say "extreme challenge park"
schweitzer, right
go to the end of schweitzer
im going regardless. (as long as nothing goes wrong whis time!)
Tex, you coming out? Show me how to drive? Smile
I wish!!! too much yard work to do, I've had skunks living under my sunroom the last two winters and I'll be damned if I let them come again. I have to do some fencing
does anyone that's going have pairs of batteries/chargers i could borrow for a day? I'm starting to charge the packs after sitting for a while, and one of em's false peaking very frequently.. any batteries w/ deans would work. if you're not planning on using em of course.

=dead batts :'(
if im up ill let you guys know how the weather is i should be up by 8am and im like 10 min from the track
I don't have 2 chargers.. but I do have 2 of the new LiMN packs that may work. Hmm err not.. they don't have deans on them.

Guessing your not going to make the 2 hour drive without batteries. Sad

Brian
Adapters...A little added resistance, but it's worth not having to screw around with plugs. Make some that have a tamiya plug opposite what is on the pack now, and deans on the other side, opposite what is on the esc.
I would not run Tamiya plugs with a high current, high voltage setup. I did what you suggested a few months ago and made adapters both ways.

So could charge packs with deans plugs on my tamiya plug style charger, and I also created an adapter to use a timaya plug battery with my ESC which had a Deans ultra plug.

While the charger adapter for deans still works when I ran a tamiya connector pack with the adapter on my Novak 5.5R setup it literally melted the tamiya plug because of the resistance.

Its Deans all the way, nothing else for me ever again.
i didn't make it.. didn't realize they're only open till 3pm.. i was ready to leave by 11, but wasn't worth 4hrs of driving time for 2hrs at the track =\ maybe next weekend, i don't know.
you missed a good time! i ran my infernp on the off-road track. what a blast!!!
