HAGASAN said in an earlier post that it seems like a fair amount of the bigger names (Kyosho, Mugen, Tamiya, Associated, Losi..etc) aren't even at the show. That can't be helping things.
think about it though... IF HOBBYTOWN guys say its bad.... It must be pretty bad! LOL!!!!!!!!!!
I went to the last one here and it was ok.
I went then too but its kinda a slap in the face that the bigger companies wont particapate when the show is here... They will when it in cali... Just seems like customer base here isnt seen as very valuble

Horizon and durajunk.... ehhh.
Maybe if MORE people went, not LESS people, then the big names would attend this show. Companies don't buy booth space at low turnout shows. And marketing departments don't select shows by thinking "go in hopes of people coming", they "go where people are at".

BTW, Brians pictures showed Losi. They are there.
I didn't see Losi listed in the show's vendor list, so I figured they weren't there. It might be possible that Horizon not Losi was showing off the micro t? I guess I will find out tomorrow or Sunday.
ahhhhhh!!! true, true......
check out big squid. he has pics up. it was losi.
they are horizon (losi)
Seen an advertisement for this in one of the newspapers today at school. Hopefully there will be a big turnout so they come back to Chicago.
Yeah, it was on fox news this mornin too.
Tex tried this before, so let's give it another shot. Let's see who's going and when.

Czech, are you painting Sunday also?
I'll be there Sunday. Late, looking to score some deals.

Losi is at the Horizon Booth, but that's usually how they are. Even before.. they just team up with them. Traxxas, CEN, Trinity, Axial (had some cool stuff) RC Solutions, Proline, Mamba Max. Not all the big players.. but some good ones.

Like I said on the pic page.. people should go and support the car companies that DO care about us in Chicago. If some company does not think Chicago is worth the effort.. screw em. Smile I'll support the ones that care.

PS: When you see the Castle Creations booth, tell them you see their vids at Big Squid! Wink

BTW for those going, check the big scale train setup in the back.. it's AMAZING! They have about 12 trains running on 8 tracks that all crossover. The entire thing is computer controlled. The trains speed up, change lanes, stop, all on their own.. it's pretty cool.

No problem on the answers.. also it's $11 to park! Killing me since I had to pay for parking for 3 days! Sheesh.

BTW: I drove by today, and the place is PACKED! TONS of people and traffic. So heads up.. also bottled water is $3.00! So bring your own. (that's what I did)

Brian
show was really cool i got to see alot of aweomse stuff today, definetly worth the trip
What is the new Losi buggy? Went in to a hobby shop today and the guy said that it's the 8ight, but with a guys name? Drake?
8ight
It's just the 8ight?

He said they have one there that isn't out yet. I asked if it was electric because I knew the 8ight is out already, but he said it is a special edition 8ight.
