I saw it at LH yesterday, looked like they just got it in, the box was still out on the counter. It looked pretty nice. Any thoughts about it?
Looks like its just as competitive as the other Arena trucks on the market
It will break. Why?? Cause its a losi

I do have to admit,I do like the name.
i saw the prototype at the indoor gas champs, it looked pretty good and it was built with mayhem parts and didnt break lol
Yeah, it looks pretty nice, I did notice that they don't come with XS3's anymore, I don't know if all of the Losi vehicles did but this one comes with the XR2i.
That's to bring the cost down some. The XR2i is still the best AM radio on the market.
For the most part its an LST With center Diff and wing
and a lot lower COG
SLOW REVO Wrote:For the most part its an LST With center Diff and wing

Kinda.... But it is on a Buggy style chassis, with the LST front and rear suspension.

SlowRevo, out of curiosity, if you sold them, what would the price be?

nothing more than a LST and a buggy smashed into one. Thats what I gathered from looking at it.
i seen one at als.
also seen a few video and they break in almost all of them.
ill post some pictures tonight
I had a chance to look at one in Al's the other day, it seems REALLY heavy compared to my Jammin CRT. I don't know about the plastic shock towers its kind of a funky setup, I don't see how it would compare with the current crop of competetive truggies.
i think it is meant to be more of a race-style monster truck not a truggy, the 8ight truggy will be good tho.

My Jammin CRT is about 9.5lbs Thats a big difference in weight there. Nearly 20% heavier, or almost 2lbs.

That Losi 8 truggy looks sweet as hell. But I'm not spending hte money on one, got a Jammin X1 FTE and CRT RTR w/upgrades so I"m good for a while as I mostly bash.

from what i heard they are having lots of problems with it
posted pictures of the muggy in gallery
that muggy if fuggly.
Agreed. Looks cheap IMO also
my 16 year old brother wants to get one but i keep telling him there is to much plastic and it is way to heavy.:o: :o: :o:
I say he should get a proven truggy then, used or new. Personally with the exception of engines I'm not really weary of buying a used RC. Most times it all works out as cheaper and you can spend money on upgrades where you like.
I seen it at the I-hobby show over the weekend, i'll stick with my Revo, but the big to do at the Losi booth was the Eight-T, that truggy lookz sweet if you can afford 679.99 for the roller
toughtrax has an awesome deal on a TTR ST1 truggy
