just wondering since berwyn got plowed over,is anyone or does anyone still go there?i had planned on going to see the winter thaw out and see anything can be redugg up,since i used to go there when i was a kid and ride my bikes on those jumps and run my lil o' tyco r/c on them trying to get the top of the hill(never made it since i would run out of batt before making to the top),this yr the munchkin wants to come out and see the other r/cer's,but just wondering if anyone had gone is going
thanks
GD
I had no plans on making it back out there as of now. Unless we were all going to meet up for a park bash and BBQ in the normal spot (by the cul-de-sac), I'm down for that.

We either need to find a new place or rebuild the jumps there. I'm not to excited about rebuilding there because of all the vandals that prey on the place.
not to thrilled either, but i think that the local bmx'ers will start the rebuild, and i'm thinking if anyone showed to use them, they may not be very welcome, not like they cared for the r/cer's anyway, but in a since i may do alittle work just to keep it where some r/cer's can go and the bikers can't complain "much",but i have not seen any worth locations in the parks or forrest preserves ,at least any that still will not need a load of work, who know's maybe somthing will pop up,

I heard there is a moto/atv spot off pulaski and I55
i have seen it not bad right next to the river and e/way,i think you can get to it from the southside of pulaski west side of street, in the industrial park area, about 5 minutes from me,if you guys are intrested i can figure it out ,
I'm down as soon as it's a bit warmer
yeah! we need a bash spot. somewhere to get big air!!!!!! Big Grin
i went to the spot in the morning,it is not bad but only one draw back it has a railroad system that runs thru there ,and it is long area ,if anyone wants to check it it is basicly right next to englewood electric

you take i55 west or east depending where your coming from to pulaski road (crawford for some)

go south and keep to the rightside lane the first light is go to your right is 40 th st , the crawford industrial park thats the name of the area

your first street is karlov make another right or north turn go straight to end of it and you park at the end which is englewood electric park and and walk accross the first set of tracks and you can not miss the first set of jumps

i dont have a camera or i would take some pics

here is the address to the location

3939 S Karlov Ave
Chicago, IL 60632
Thanks man, we should check it out when the weather gets better. Smile
