if i choose between the 2 you gave me links to mike i would choose the first...but will it last me long?
should get 6-8gallons out of them easy
should get 6-8gallons out of them easy
ok....well what about the novarossi...do they last long? im looking for an engine that will last me long but will still give me plenty of low end and top end to stick with the pack...lol but i want somethin thats gonna last me long because im not a sponsered guy just learning to race
ya it will, i think those had a little trouble with the rear bearing but thats hit or miss.
you should get at least 6-8 gallons out of any motor if taken care of. Its all about your maitence and tune that will tell ya how much of a life it will get.
unless its a 3.3 LOL
or a werks, hehe
What is this for? A buggy or truggy?
Buggy.

Any of those should do you well. I would say stick with what you got now unless you busted it, and get a low end pipe if that's what you need more of. Or get a pipe like a jp3 that should give you a bit more power all around.
T.T. Listen to me, your new to 1/8 The 21+5 is going to make your buggy extremley hard for you to drive... Too much power. The rb is also a powerful motor, smoother than the nova but IMO still too much This first link is to the motor that I run in my 1/8 and so does snakebite,dentguy92, Mitchell Pacin (lil Jag) and my other buddy chris. It has plenty of power but it wont be overkill

If you want a good lil rb heres one. Its what Mr.tune runs and i also have one of thses NIB that im gonna have as a back up to my nova

rocco^^^HAHAHAHAH

Go with the S7 smoother bottom than the 21bf and alot more top
I vote for the S7 as well. Great motor!
s7
RB S7 or S3. Lean more towards the S3, very good motor and the price is awesome.

LoL that's grreeaaat......hahahaaaaaa....
hahaha rocco yeah I know him and yes hes a lil jag..lol

well matt i still have the motor that im running right now but i wanna get one of these motors as a back up and ill get it for christmas
thanks everyone im gonna go with the rb s3

this will just be my back up till my recent one blows....it has 9 1/2 gallons on it so im thinknig itll last 2-3 more gallons before it goes
Good choice going with the S3! Stick a short pipe like a JP-2, 086, or equivelent short pipe on that sucker.
Kevin, I think I'm pushing 12 gallons, still topping out on the straights as fast or faster than anyone I've seen, and can clear whatever comes my way as good as anyone else. Just cause a motor is old doesn't mean it can't put out some good power and last long too.
Yeah Matt, that was rippin' yesterday!
Yeah it was.... Almost too much for indoor...Naa! haha I was lean boggin on the low end though, this motor runs cool, likes right around 200-210 I guess. 230 and it was running iffy on the low end but rocked on the top.

I ended up blowing 2 foams I guess also...

Back on topic now....Kevin, I'm sure you'll do well with that new motor, mabye you can keep up w/ me if I don't miss a qual again.
