so spaming on your board is not permited, but you do it here? thats crap!
ill join in a lil while
My Constructive critisism:

First, there are some plainly obvious spelling errors on the forum homepage.

Second, you have way too many forums for a site that is just starting out. Better to start off with a few, and add them as needed.

And last but not least, firesprink is right. You highly against spamming of sites on you forums, but you have no issues doing it elsewhere? While I don't mind you providing the link personally, I still find it kinda funny.

Good luck with you new venture! As the owner of this place, I'll say this...
Running and maintain a site is tough. And only gets tougher the bigger it gets.
Hey what's alcohole??
lol tune why is it hard, what kinda stuff u gotta do? and why did u start this hell hole Wink jk
I was into the website stuff before this place. I already had one site going already, but that project has since failed. I think its downfall was that it wasn't targeted enough to a certain type of audience.

Fastforward 1 year and 2 friends of mine had told me to make an rc site dedicated for chicago. They said I'd be the only one, and as big as chicago and the surrounding area is, the target audience potention would be huge. At the time, I was only in the hobby for a few months. So we split the startup cost 3 ways and 2 weeks later, (6/4/04) chitownrc.com was born. I got lucky enough that the first new members were very talkative and helped spread the word. The site started up a little slow in the beginning but ended up taking off like a mofo almost overnight. I have never paid for advertising for this site. It has all been word of mouth Smile.

I remember going to berwyn for the first time and there were about 8 guys back there bashing it up on saturday mornings. I knew that this site was a success and had lots of influence and exposure when we setup a end of summer bash in oct 05. We plastered it all over the site and promoted it on the homepage. We had 50+ people and tons of rc's show up for the bbq/bash. It was the biggest turnout ever for berwyn. Not bad for only being open for a little over 1 year.
well, spamming on the board is acceptable to a certain point. I havent went all the way through my rules yet. Still modifying everything. I thought i would amke a site where you can cuss, bitch people out when the time is right, and get away with things you wouldnt ina normal site. But still being watched my mods and myslef to make sure things dont get to far out of hand. Its something new, and i think it may be a hit one day. Only the MEN and WOMEN are aloud. No kiddies please
problems solved!!!
